Rather anticlimactic (again), except for the last panel. Her mother is "fine?" I thought her mother was deceased...

Unless the Harvester of Sorrow is telling her that she's fine because she's "in a better place."

I'm gonna agree with that second statement. I think Ginger just wanted to know what happened to her mother's soul after it was taken away... To know she's in a better place and not suffering in the Sorrow Sanctum is closure for her (and the comic?).
