Still wouldn't work, when you factor in the with of the bedposts, the blade would still actually be a little further out that the top of the pillows. So the only way it cout hit your hair is if your hair was really poofy, in which case it would be already being pushed up against the wall and you probably would not be keeping your bed in that poistion. I tend to think the gilloutine motif is merely ornamental (actually since it's the same color as the frame, it may just be carved to LOOK like a Gilloutine, that blade may not in fact be real or movable) Disworld's Death has a house where nearly everything has a skull and scythe motif, so Grim Jr having a bed with a Gilloutine motif does not really look out of place to me. Maybe it was a gift from Uncle Jack.

As for the guillotine, if it was actually functionally, we'd have to wonder why the heck would it be? I mean...he's a skeleton. So what if he get's beheaded. Secondary point to back this up, why would Mandy, or whoever took care of the fashioning, put a weapon that could actually kill Jr so close to him but also not in a way that could definitely do it.

Also, if you did want to kill someone with it, all you'd have to do is pull the bed out a little to make room to shove the bugger's head under, so there's something.

I'm going for Mon's reasoning but it probably does work. Whoever would give a guillotine bed to someone that's in this world and close to the family, if not part of it, would probably make it functioning, because they're fricking crazy like that.

After what happened in GTDB, I was surprised that Jr can talk to the nergal thing so casually. And does he realize that Minnie is jealous of Mimi? That last line made me think that later on Minnie will go berserk with Giygas and Jr thinks that it's because Mandy favors him over Minnie.

That scenario could end up favorably too.

It seems to me that the nergal thing will become one of Jr's true friends. I do agree that the last line is interesting. I don't think Jr ever wanted to become the favorite. He was jealous of Minnie but I think that it was more of a friendly rivalry. It will be funny to see Mimi's reaction when she wakes up and sees what's above her.
