I accidentally missed Space Dandy, but I did remember to record it at least. How was it?

At least I won't miss tonight's One Piece. Tonight's episode is the one I've been waiting for! Very excited to see it (again).

I missed Space Dandy too. :(
I also had to skip Naruto Shippuden. I'm not a huge Naruto fan, but I thought I would at least give it a try.

One Piece was fucking awesome, some really intense stuff.   I wonder what Usopp has planned.

I know right? It still felt just as tense & emotional as it did back then, next week is going to be even better/worse when    the fight    happens. Gonna try to be patient :p

I'm having a hard time seeing how Usopp could win.

I'm also wondering who their new shipwright will be. Any thoughts? I'm drawing a blank.

I can't watch Subs, they bother me too much. I have to keep pausing to read them, because I'm a slow-ass reader, also I hate having to split my focus between the action, and the dialog.

it takes some getting used to. it took me a month or two to sync up with the words. now after four years its the only version of anime i can watch.

dubs cut and change words. subs do to but not as bad.

Just thought that I'd announce (didn't see it posted here, and I literally just read it) that Black Lagoon will be taking Soul Eater's place on Toonami on March 22.

Also, don't forget that Blue Exorcist will be airing this Saturday!

Also (for those who record), that Soul eater is moving to the 2:00 to 2:30 slot until it finishes (Blue is taking the 1:30 to 2:00)

I'm happy; means that in 5 weeks I can start going to bed a half hour earlier (I already saw Black Lagoon when they showed it on Showtime Beyond, (or SyFy, or wherever) and don't particuarly feel like re-watching it. )

1:00 to 1:30; same as it was before. The change only effects Soul Eater; it is moving a half hour later (your listing shows this) Or are you in a different time zone that EST; so for you; One Piece is at 2:00

(for the ones who may have missed the announcement) Tonight will be the last night for Inuyasha to air on Toonami. They lost the rights to it or something. So it'll be replaced with Symbiotic Titan starting next week.

Oh darn.

You know what, I'm interested, can anyone post the canonical order of the Anime, Films, and OVAs?

According to this site, this is the order that the series should be viewed in. After skimming wikipedia, I'm guessing they based it off of their initial release dates (but I do see a few other places confirming this timeline)

-Watch episodes 1-54
-Inuyasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time (Released between episode 54&55)
-Watch episodes 55-95
-Inuyasha the Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass (Released between episodes 95&96)
-Watch episodes 96-136
-Inuyasha the Movie: Swords of an Honorable Ruler (Released between episodes 136&137)
-Watch episodes 137-167 (though some argue only up to 159 is necessary because something happens in 160 that makes watching the 4th movie perfect)
-Inuyasha the Movie: Fire on the Mystic Island (Released after episode 167)
-Inuyasha: Final Act-26 episodes (Final 26 episodes of the series that covers the end of the manga).

Although someone else said that you should view it in this order
-1-54
-Movie 1
-55-75
-Movie 2
-76-126 (although this one is murky since it's hard to place the exact timeline for Movie 3)
-Movie 3
-127-167 (or 159 due to something that happens in 160 & the movie)
-Movie 4
-Final Act:1-26

There was only one OVA released for Inuyasha (Black Tetsusaiga/Kuroi Tessaiga) and it was released between the fourth movie and Final Act. Though, this apparently ended up being edited and treated as an episode in Final Act (episode 15 apparently). So I'd advise not watching this until you've seen episode 15 of Final Act. Or, you could probably skip it altogether, since the material is likely very similar.

Personally, I'd probably follow the first list rather than the second.

I'm a bit disappointed that Final Act probably won't be coming to Toonami now (would have loved to have watched it here), but hey, maybe one day?

Just saw the announcement that Attack on Titan will be coming to Toonami on May 3rd at 11:30 ET. So the schedule will look like this in May.

11:30pm: Attack on Titan
12:00am: Bleach
12:30am: Space Dandy
01:00am: Naruto Shippuden
01:30am: One Piece
02:00am: Blue Exorcist
02:30am: Black Lagoon
03:00am: Naruto
03:30am: Ghost in the Shell
04:00am: Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
04:30am: Samurai Jack
05:00am: Star Wars the Clone Wars
05:30am: Sym-Bionic Titan

Wasn't expecting it to come to Toonami this soon, but I guess it makes sense given how quickly it's getting dubbed.
