Well, Jr is screwed now.
No matter where this goes, it’s not looking to good for him.
In my personal experience, it's pointless to fight with your parents because you can never win.
If you lose the argument, you lose, but if you win the argument, you look like a whinny, immature prick, in which case you still lose.
Even though this is a physical fight as opposed to a verbal one, those who have fought with their parent can see my point.

It's possible Mandy may just go tell him to get out of the way, Jr says no, maybe some other character tells him to get out of the damn way but Jr and Mandy just ignore them. Mandy staring at Jr's defiance out of the corner of her eye. A silent panel, and then Mandy just sighs and tells him if she tries anything, it's on his head.

Mandy is not one for talking or remorse. She takes action to benefit herself and only herself. The only thing that would prevent Mandy from doing anything about the situation is if she was outmatched which would be disadvantageous for her to take part in. This is usually why she also uses minions and others to do the work for her simply because she can.
