Stories (BR: not sure if welcome thread)

Postby Iseeu » Sat Jan 28, 2012 7:21 pm

I found this website via EverAfter, since then I've been reading PPG, Sugar Bits and Grim Tales, enjoying all of them. The comics don't update as frequently as I would hope, but I can understand why. If anyone else knows any other sites with this kind of story telling, can you reply please?

I'm afraid I'll have to suggest you an alternative.

...IN THE NAME OF ZEE CAPTAIN

That's as serious as I could get here for this thread. I've not been able to find a single comic with a story that's been able to catch my attention either. I've taken a look at the Google links too.

I guess the webcomics here are sort of a one-of-a-kind thing. The webcomics I read have no story at all.

Sorry kid, but it looks like I'll have to get deeper.

I've only managed to find one comic that satisfies what I was looking for, Gunnerkrigg Court. It is more light than these ones, due to the fact they don't involve graphic deaths, I'll keep looking.

Btw Lyra, I was asking for any comics you have read and would reccomend, not the fact I can't look for myself.

Is... this a welcome thread yet? If not, welcome new guy.

If story-based webcomics are your thing, I would recommend giving Erfworld a looksee. I like how the fluffy art style is contrasted by the personalities of the characters and the overall seriousness of the plotline.

Ha ha, thanks for the welcome. The fact is that I've been here for quite a while, just I have made this account to post this, to try to find other stories.

Also Order of the Stick is full of good writing and plot twists that'll make you go "What?" Its a pretty good art style for a stick-figure comic.

Disclaimer: If you don't agree with my opinion, I'm not a comic reviewer or a writer, I'm just an asshole. Also, I'm probably drunk right now.
