I think we've established that Blossom's the mother. Maybe she was the traitor, but becoming a mother changed her back to being against Him.

And I'm sure Him can deal with high heat, like an explosion. Probably the main reason he survived it.

Raven and Hoss are checked off my list for suspected traitors.

@PP-Grim1013--------Good suggestion. Self sacrifice to save her mother and Jeff?

sorry if this comes across rude, I don't mean to be.......But;
The stories are not linked. They are separate stories written by separate writers my dear. I lost count of how many times BR and other members repeated this.
:)

It won't, because Grim Tales and PPGD don't co-exist with each other. Seir and BeeAre both stated that this little flashback isn't canon with PPGD.

Thanks for the information, not really paying attention between the lines, I only remember when Grids said that it was the same timeline, and BR said it wasn't. Now that Grids has disappeared, I didn't really knew what was going on.

So, no explanation in PPGD, what a shame...

Good quote, i was thinking of a line from RvB, to paraphrase "it's a fundamental quality of man that, when faced with certain annihilation, every alternative is preferable"

of course the original line said extinction instead of annihilation, but considering we've already pretty much foregone extinction at this point i think annihilation fits better. anyhow, that was some explosion what kind of grenade was that? The ultimate pocket nuke?

Him is probably another M.Bison. No matter how many times you kill him, he always returns from the dead somehow. Maybe he got a new body?

Why thank you.
Your quote is also true.
I belive that Extinction and annihilation are basically the same.

As for the explosion, I have one theory.
What if Hoss and Raven had a plan B from the begining.
They knew that one day they would encounter a villian they could not beat,
so they planted a nuke at a secret location as a backup.
When they could not defeat thier opponent (Him), the plan would be that Raven would teleport them all to the nuke.
Hoss would then use his bombs to trigger the explosion.

I seriously doubt it. Raven most likely teleported away to prevent Blossom and Mimi getting caught in the blast. Even the shock wave from the blast could very well injure Mimi if it went off at close range.

Quiet right, though the distance may also be coincidence
or part of this "hypothetical" back up plan.
Just saying...

^ I'd agree with your theory, except for the fact that the grenade Hoss used isn't a conventional grenade. Also explosions from a grenade, no matter how powerful, won't detonate a nuclear core. As well as, Hoss's grenade doesn't have a primer, notice there's no metal tube sticking out of the grenade itself. So it's detonation method would have to be through a remote detonator. So what he used was more than likely an encased nuclear core, with a remote trigger. They wouldn't have time to teleport HIM, drop the grenade, teleport again (sans HIM), and Hoss detonate it. Not without HIM catching on and getting out of range of the blast himself. So it had to be a suicide attack for it to be effective, teleport to get out of range of the protectee and detonate with HIM subdued.

Ah, I was unaware of the nature of nuclear core detination.
Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Ok this is getting weird. I'm in to PPG D and all of a sudden it skips to the future in this. Talk about a spoiler alert.
