Heart Shaped Skull thread

Postby Saint Soul » Tue Oct 04, 2011 11:31 pm

Alrighty folks basically this is a thread for Heart Shaped Skull. This thread was established because we feel that Snafu could use a new flavor and Better Comics.

So you go a head and pick the busiest Section on the site, instead of using the dead Digital Purgatory Section?

Okay. Whatever floats the boat. Might be smarter to have it in there, then we could at least justify having the damn section.

why is this comic significant? what is the hook that makes it interesting? so far it seems like puerile adolescent escapism. the heroine knows fucking everything and no one is right but her and her unflinching cynicism with the world. the key difference between this and twilight thus far is that it's HER who has the neat abilities instead of a perfect man to sweep her off her feet.

BL why put it there? Its a grave yard. Never even seen the point in having a what is now literal 'Digital Purgatory" section in the first place.

@BR: Haha, I guess I can't really answer that because I ended up reading Serenity Rose because of a cartooning class. Otherwise, I don't think I would ever have bothered reading it. The first volume is a little too cynical and angsty for my own liking(art was pretty messy, too. but who am i to talk? :p)... but after finishing it, There were a lot of questions the book had left me with. So I just got curious to read more. Then I read the second volume... where the story and art got a lot better imo.

Awesome! You'll see how much better it gets from there.
The reason the art changes are so drastic is because the author, Aaron, was working on Invader Zim stuff while drawing the comic... you could see how that could mess with someone's drawing abilities. :p

They're best fwiends, so of course you'll see him again. I used to identify with Sera, but I'm a happierr kid now. Hoping to cosplay as her one day... all I need are goggles.

I've always identified with Vicious, even though my friend demanded I'd be Sera. And he was Kelto-....ohhhhhh.
