Not at all. I completely understand that your goal is to get new members. Since if an influx caused by such a comic happened, it'd almost entirely consist of teenagers who are heavy DeviantArt users (the worst, and most drama prone kind of Brony), if the influx of such people was heavy, I'd simply accept that things have changed and move on to different forums.

I'd hope they wouldn't quite go like that, but I'd expect them to stick around and tone down a bit like most of the other people here have. We have a lot of good members right now, and many of them are posting across multiple sections and getting involved. I'm pleased with the progress made, but would love to get some more people in.

Anyways, here is some new Bleed art. I don't know what to think about it.

The timing is funny on that one. I just recently started watching Pokemon from the very beginning of the series, back when it was still Ash, Misty, and Brock. Kinda nostalgic.

That said, Misty looks a bit off here, though...I think it has to do with the ears. They don't seem to be matching up with the direction her head is tilting, and they sort of just stick out in an odd way.

…ya, the ears look pretty weird
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

You guys are kinda right. The ears look a little odd. But other than that, it's a pretty cool picture. The coloring is really good imo.

The longer you look at them the weirder they are, haha

Yeah face is a bit rounded and simplified, too.

Huh. Are they suppose to be that low? The one on the side with her arm raised looks sort of normal for the anime style, but that other one is starting to creep me out.

Weird ears aside, I'm honestly surprised that bleedman did a anime character. Pokémon in particular. Or did he do this sort of thing before?

Hopefully, there was a miscommunication. I meant I was surprised he did a drawing based on an existing anime character.

I believe what bleedman was trying to do with misty was by differentiate his version from the show, and apparently caused some negative effects.

He's done that before, yes. Just look through his gallery, you'll find them (In fact, right in the end of that first page there's Homura Akemi from Puella Magi Madoka Magica).

It's Jewel, not Mimi.

It's not Mimi. It's Jewel, an OC character of Numa. The design speaks as to who her parents are.
