Oh, and here's a WIP of my model of the Library...
So far so good, getting in the details before any texturing. Also, yes, the tree so far is just the bare wood, and I haven't modeled-in the leafy bits yet, partly because I want to be able to portray the tree as burnt, without the leaves as well.
No interior, and I'm not EVEN going to try figuring out how the various porches and telescope deck connect to the inside of the library. Yeah, no thanks. If the show ITSELF is going to cheat by using interior sets and unique sets that have nothing to do with the stock Library graphic, why should *I* try and figure out the logistics of this building?
Damndest model I've done in a while... It has all the difficulty of modeling a tree with all the precision of adding architecture to it. There is literally NO structure in all of Ponyville more baffling to recreate. At least all the OTHER buildings and residences follow some simple geometric flow that can be hacked out quickly, save maybe for Sugarcube Corner. But hell, someone ALREADY modeled Sugarcube Corner, so, bullet dodged there.
Harry intentionally used the occlumantic link to see Voldemort's thoughts. He was flicking lit matches at Lucius Malfoy.
"Your pain bores me," said Darth Nonose. "Go fetch Severus. I have some death for him."
Wazit_Blade: "Gah! J-Dude just invaded the thread!"
