I find this page rather awkward. The whole first panel is just ick, both in exchange and in Buttercup's expressions. The nyoron face doesn't work here...
And if it's another reference to something that may or may not have its own youtube clip, then it went completely over my head.

I like Buttercup in the second panel though. Something bout her eyes...

The discussion has been going on for about 5 minutes so far and the couch is already worrying too much.

gonna be honest here: we wanted to cram another joke into the panel, but Bleed said next page, so we turned it into a vague cliffhanger. Also, the dialogue bubbles aren't very precise, Jack and Utonium's noses specifically are strange to me, and YEAH WHAT IS UP WITH BUTTERCUP.

I notice there is a lot more anime qualities added to this chapter. Like perhaps an overabundance. Sometimes works, although I wonder if you guys should even bother adding a back story of your own of their resemblance. It may be interesting though.

I don't get the title, but I assume someone does, so I'll let them. For the rest, well, sometimes you just have to do something transitional.

Damn right they were. It's way too easy to spot the changes made when one of them was copied and mirrored.

HA, I was right! XD I thought that Jack and Utonium would notice each other's similarities. =) Of course, it was kind of inevitable anyway.

First time I ever saw Samurai Jack, first thought in my head was 'whoa! that guy looks like the Professor!'

Second panel: Buttercup has to GO

Third panel: she got a splinter...and her eyes went into screensaver mode...

As for Bloxter, I think since time has passed we'll see the result of the tryouts in a bit? Who knows with this comic?

Just what will her punishment be? Hopefully it will be revealed in the next update.

I must admit I thought the "Jack and the Professor look alike" joke was a throwaway. It's been ignored so far, but the acknowledgement is kind of funny.

Buttercup's pensiveness is a neat change, though. Outwardly, she's acting indifferent and trying to be cheerful about it, but this gives us a look at what she's thinking on the inside. Which is actually very in keeping with the character, she is troubled by her violent tendencies sometimes.

Not much of a cliffhanger, though. We all know that both the Professor and Jack will come up with a punishment that fits the crime, and even teaches a lesson, they're that kind of character.

I think BC's more concerned that she let down Jack, personally.

I'd guess that Gemini refers to Star Trek, Gemini effect which was used to "clone" a space ship. (Literally calling its own self from the future to aid the fleet temporarily.) And reflector could be in relation to reflector shields. Technically a double pun on how similar they look.

and buttercups punishment shall be... COMMUNITY SERVICE!!! that or having to join her sisters as a ballerina. but hey thats may opinion.

Yeah, a lot of people think they look similar, but it's not that similar, Utonium's head is more rectangular shape, but I digress.
