Yes, it is obviously because everybody prefers to eat lunch elsewhere than in the cafeteria, in the halls, corridors, out in the play field, and even on the roof, but not cafeteria. And it's not because it would be too hard to sketch so many people in the room.

Hehe, nice. The style has such a curvy, sharp, pastel-yet-smoothed-out quality to it, and the colors offer a subtle but powerful warmth. Yeah, I noticed the deal with the new school surroundings myself, but I can forgive that really. It wouldn't be the first time I've seen drastic environment changes taking place between productions. I'm pretty used to that after all the Harry Potter films where everything seems to get rearranged one way or the other from film to film. The city is a more logical place certainly. But aside from that, you can note an immense difference in quality from those first opening pages of PPGD and this most recent page.

Regarding the style further, it's truly unlike anything I've seen before.

I guess Bubbles can get tough and cool enough to blend in with unusual groups. ( Like one episode of PPG where she disguises herself as one of the Rowdyruff Boys )

There was also an episode where she went mental and I remember she actual scarred me, the way she screamed in rage as she beat the living hell out of a bunch of monster. There was also an episode where HIM made her vent her rage through colouring in and she went mental then to.
So Bubbles does have quite a dark side to her.
