I even in deedee part....men that was intense.

i may be turning the page back a little but why not,

here in the U.K. you have 6 years of primary education, wich is the same for evryone in the country except people with specail needs
in years 3 or 4 (cant remember) you take a test called a S.A.T. to test your progress and then again at the end in year 6 youll take a harder S.A.T. again this is to test your progression

after that you go onto highschool for another 5 years
for the first 3 years you take a howl load of subjects, then you take another S.A.T. then you get to pick drop some subjects and take G.C.S.E.s in all the others. you have 2 years to study the subjects and do coursework and around the end you have exams and then your graded a, b, c and son on for eatch subject. any sujects where yo got below a c might as well be usless

you can then goto college to either redo some gcse or go onto your A levals or get a crappy job

A levals well then get u into university or a slightly better job

at university you get your degrees etc wich get you the jobs the roxors

theres also loads of other qualification you can get but this is the main route nowadays

anyway i turned seventeen when i started college wich was cool

although i got rubish gcses

Wow, here in America we only take SAT or PSAT in 8th grade/Year 8 which is my year or Year 7 but thats just like preparing you for the real SAT in which u take in Highskool, which is usually Junior/Year 11 or Senior year/ Year 12, i think Junior is more common not sure.

They are just a name given to rank highschoolers, started like a century ago i guess or maybe just half of a century ago!

Freshman is - Year 9
Sophomore - Year 10
Junior -Year 11
Senior- highest rank-rules all of the highschool domain !

Next year I'll be a Freshman, and be trampled over by all of the high grade students! just 3 mores year until I'm a senior though!

well, in holland the high-school system will start at 11-12 years of age. you have 3 main levels, VMBO, HAVO, VWO (the full titles are dutch, and you would not understand em). VMBO is the lowest. when you finish that (after 4 years in high school) you can either choose to go to HAVO, or go and pick a subject you like, and then specialise in that, but then you will be put in the worst, and heaviest jobs.

HAVO (l'm in HAVO) is the medium level. when you're done there (5 years of high school), you can get the bit more normal jobs like sitting in an office, or lab, and getting told what to do. or you could choose to go to VWO.

VWO is the highest, and your only done there after 6 years. with VWO you can get into all the universities easy, and you get the really high jobs.

I am currently in my last year of HAVO
