I'm guessing that isn't a Spikes Roserade. Docile nature isn't good of course.

Leaf Storm is better than Petal Dance. You don't need Giga Drain. Maybe Hidden Power Fire or Ice.

Life Orb or Black Sludge.

Has anyone picked up B/W2 yet? I wish I could, but my money is going into Borderlands 2 and Gaige.

I know Hiroko on the threads picked one up. And she got that lvl 15 Genesect that's out for it.

On another note, I found my own Pokemon Black version that I thought I lost.

Huh, didn't expect to get mentioned here. o3o

An update on that Genesect: that thing is a lifesaver, omg.
Swept through the entirety of Burgh's gym (with the exception of one Dwebble with Sturdy) with that thing. Has been pretty good with other battles as well, once you get the first Gym badge. *-*

I wish it had listened to me during that first Gym battle, though. :< Would have been super helpful, since I was struggling to survive. Was getting my ass handed to me by a Lillipup, of all things. TT The Genesect at least worked as a wall for me to stall for time while I healed the rest of my Pokemon...;

Don't you mean 151?

They had a Genesect event?! It is one of my favorite new Pokemon. I hope there is another way of getting one in the future.

All 151? My Crystal version still has every Pokemon except for Celebi.

Its still going until November 12. You'll just need a Black 2 or White 2 game.

Re: Fuck Yeah, Pokémans

Sun Oct 14, 2012 4:57 pm

Saw Black2 and White2 on sale over here. I have White version and everything I could possibly need to feel content with myself in the Pokeverse.

So with this new game out, I need some convincing in order to get it and remain competitive and shit.

Anyone wanna convince me, or should I step away at last?

Well, even though i haven't gotten either yet, the fact that it's the second official sequel game set in the series (Gold/Silver/Crystal being the first), it should be an interesting venture. And right off the bat, you can get a lvl 15 Genesect at Gamestop. The main antagonist group look more competent and less silly this time around, more like the classic Team Rocket, but more Green Beret style. Also, I've seen some interesting side quests that look fun. Being able to take part in radio opera battles for a show I believe, as well as being able to fight in in-game tournaments with all of the gym leaders and champions. And I feel the story will be a lot more fun this time around. As well as animated sprites for everyone now. So, lots of things and all I like.

Edit: Disregard that.

In other news, Ive got access to the net on White now! If any one can help me out, I'd like a female drizzle politoed for breeding, and also a female storm drain lileep. I had my regular team on random match up and lost 5 to 1... Thanks if you can help me out.

I wonder when Nintedo will realize that making a console Pokemon would be the most successful thing they could ever do involving the franchise?

Pitch it!

As in sell it? Make it seem appealing? Okay, sure.

So get this, Next generation, except this time there isn't an entirely new zone to explore. Instead; you get every zone available, but interconnected. You can choose where you want to start, and when you finish said zone you can move on to the next; except the Pokemon and trainers you encounter will be somewhat scaled to your level to prevent it from being too easy. The zones will be excessively streamlined to prevent tediousness of playing 6 separate Pokemon games back to back, so instead of 8 Gyms then Pokemon leagues, each of 5 zones have 2 Gyms. Preferably at each half. (The halves mind you, are already considerably shorter now due to streamlining.)

Once you have all 10 badges, you move on to the League in each zone, also growing stronger after each gym you defeat, the final gym allowing you to go to some kind of Intercontinental battle tower to go to the final battle(s).

By the time your are done with all of this, you Pokemon would have comfortably and naturally leveled up to around 80-85. The post game would be the usuals; Battle Tower, Mini Games, Multiplayer etc. With the new Wii-U touchpad capabilities, it would be second nature to control this game well.

Now here's the kicker to prevent this from being any 'combine all Pokemon games' pitch. As I said from the get-go, this isn't a generation in that there is a new zone- but there WILL be new Pokemon. As each Professor from each zone sent you out to research new Pokemon in each individual game, they made considerable breakthroughs in their Pokemon research and discovered new strains of Pokemon discovered in very isolated parts of each zone. Such as the Vanishing Isles from Hoenn for example.

Artificial Pokemon, such as Mewtwo and Ditto would be researched and learned from, perhaps resulting in more artificial steel, fire and poison types being introduced. New fossil Pokemon found of this new golden age of Exploration- all supported by the extended memory of console games over handheld games.

As for the story of such a game: I think it would have something to do with a new type of technology that would make it quick, efficient, cheap and easy to travel. Such as the S.S.Super Anne or something. Maybe a giant intercontinental Railroad, resulting in a new age of travel and vacation.

Along the way you will probably meet up with Team (Insert) who wants to do (Something Questionable) so you have to stop them along the way. Perhaps meeting several characters along the way, such as Red and N among other famous singular characters.

Hows that sound?

I just made my first Gen V purchase last week, with Black (Couldn't find Black 2 or White 2).
The only thing that really bugs me is the fact that they decided to include the bloody abomination known as 'Vanillite' as a Pokemon.

Finally got ahold of White 2. I convinced my friends to pick up B/W2 as well.I think I may start completely from scratch and build a new EV/IV trained team for the new gen.
