I actually tried to give the 4Kids version of One Piece a chance, I REALLY DID! However, as the show progressed, I grew sicker and sicker of all the glaring edits and horrid voices! So, I've decided to avoid watching any 4Kids-related shows, which is a shame because the new Ninja Turtles cartoon is the only 4Kids show worth watching!

Anyways, I loved the action sequences in this page - Bleedman does a great job illustrating it - the blur effects for the movement adds on really well. Go Bell! It seems like this fight is not much of a problem for her..

Gir goes from chearleader to matrix fan, and people say he isn't random enough? Also I fing the last pannel to be especily nice simply in terms of a frezze framed action shot. The blur, the hair the lightning...perfection.

This is awesome. It was like SIS BOOM BA! And there's a matrix scene! Ahh... the classics. I love the way Bleedman did the scenes, their fightings stances are well drawn and the effects (like what Bebichu said) are awesome and goes along with the actions.

Bell rocks. The fight seems so easy for her, and Blossom is giving it all she's got. Dun dun dunnn...

I could get used to Gir being in every 2 to 3 panels. I liked the blend of action, and comedy. That's not the easiest thing to do without breaking up the mood. The moves were good to.

Notice how gir literaly has no spoon. There is a knife and a fork with that steak, but no spoon. Indicative that someone didn't get that scene. Also it looks like someone has no arms too.

Great pages, but that last page... Something about Blossom's punch, cant make much of it, maybe its the angle it was drawn? Oh well, cant wait for the beging of the next chapter!

Flaws:
1) Panty shots. Again.
2) Bell still doesn't get her eyebrows back. Are the eyebrows an indication of her "innocence mode"?
3) WHY DID YOU STOP THERE?! XD

Good stuff:
1) Fear the chibi. With Matrix background.
2) Fear GIR's appearance.
3) And fear the giant action page.
4) Next chapter, fear Bell.

Yeah, because The Matrix hasn't been parodied enough. Although i'd probably be at a loss of ideas too.

Not a good place to end a chapter... Is there really any reason for ending it there?

I find it kind of interesting that Bell insists on toying with Blossom - almost likes Bell is intentionally getting Blossom pissed off. I do, however, like how Gir seems to watch the battle as if it were a movie. I still think that Blossom will win over "Taco Bell."

Taking the matrix part out, I love this weeks comic finally some godlike action scenes and Gir is actually funny this time! Bleedman is still an awesome artist!

The Matrix part fits in. It adds some variety to the fighting. The Matrix will always be parodied. Hell, how many times have they parodied (?) Star Wars. "Dexter, I am your father." "NOOOOOOO......wait, you are my father."

I must be the only person who finds Gir unnecessary and annoying, I suppose.

Then again, I already said i'm not a fan of any of the shows this comic is based on, and he's simply trying to stay true to the character. So it's my own fault I don't like him, however it won't stop me from commenting on it...

It just doesn't fit for me. I'm all for comic relief but it just doesn't seem to be the place for it. Not my type of humor either, I prefer more sarcastic humor. The whole "random is funny!" logic doesn't always work. It seems like so many shows on Adult Swim lately are taking that direction. Stuff like Aqua Teen Hunger Force were such "hits" that now every show they're putting on there is just randomness with no point at all.

Ah well, I'm still impressed by the comic nonetheless. I'm not sure why people complain about the panty shots. They're girls, and they wear skirts. Now when these girls do things like fly and kick, it's bound to happen. It's simply physics, if anything.

For GIR think of him as one of those MAD comics where there is pointless and unrelated things outside the boxes.

I hate to think like this, but I don't think Blossom stands much of a chance against her right now. She's just going all-out on Bell right now, which is never a good idea if you don't know how strong your opponent is. It's obvious Bell isn't trying, and as pointed out, is intentionally getting Blossom angry. Blossom is far too emotionally agitated at this point; unless someone else shows up in the next chapter, well.....

Here's my thoughts on the new pages.

First of all, I don't see what all the fuss is about with the panty shots. If some people are too distracted by them, then don't read it. Not to be rude, but at least the number of panty shots are lower than chapter 1. Sure, I was shocked to see it at first but I did the only thing I could do... get over it and read on. Why? Because this thing kicks ass!

Besides, panties are about as far as Bleedman will go. Especially if he wants to keep the comic going.

Secondly, Bleedman's illustrations are just as gorgeous as ever. This guy can really draw a fight scene! He did chapter 1 a while back and it was obviously in an older style of his. I was hoping to see the Girls in action done in his current style and I've got my wish! I was also wondering when he'd get around to doing the Girls' respective light trails. He pulled it off incredibly. And the chibis of Blossom and Bell were adorable in the Matrix panel. The green Matrix coding in the background was a nice touch as well.

About the Matrix spoofing... I have no problem with it. Sure it's been done to death in other movies, cartoons, games, etc. but let's face it: No one is safe from it. not even readers of the PPG Doujinshi.

GIR's randomness is something that will NOT go away. Bleedman is just trying to keep everyone in character.

As for the story itself, Blossom is trying like hell to put up a fight against Bell, who is simply toying with her. Blossom is normally the calm and collected one, but she's acting like Buttercup. This is about a 9.0 on the "Bad-Thing-O-Meter" in Blossom's case.

Things are NOT looking well for Leader Girl right now.

Until chapter 5 (next week), I await the results.
