Yeah, like the title says.

Forgot to specify time for poll, so I had to try again.

My favorite is Raven. She has the best powers, and the coolest attitude.

My least is Robin. He is way too powerful for his own good. I mean how can a metal pole, wielded by a skinny, teenage kid going to take down a big, hulking brute like Cinderblock?

Speed, my friend. He doesn't rely on raw force, he relies on momentum. Let me put it this way:what do you think would hurt more? a metal weight shoved into you, or a metal weight on a chain pulled really far back, and then let go, sending it directly into your head really really fast? it's why most of his big moves involve getting up in the air:a downward-forward momentum and the right angle of striking is DEADLY.

I still don't like Robin in Teen Titans. In Batman, yes, but in TT, noooo.

Which reminds me, is the TT Robin Dick Grayson, or Tim Drake?

He looks like he should be Tim, but the series leads him on as being Dick.

We've seen stuff that points to both, and I don't care. He's robin. he doesn't ditch the mask and become <insert name of whichever robin it is here> when the day's done. He stays robin(although I assume he doesn't wear that mask while sleeping.).

Dick Grayson. There is no evidence that points to him being Tim Drake. The only evidence people point to for that is his name written on a chalkboard in the second Red X episode, but that's a misinterperetation of what the name means.

It doesn't matter how much momentum or force he puts behind his kicks. Logic and physics both dictate that his skeleton would snap like a brittle twig before he's ever able to kick Cinderblock to the ground. It's just a matter of mass. Cinderblock is a freaking concrete wall, Robin's bones wouldn't have a prayer.

Maybe I'm just idiotic, but I assume that aiming for the head and shoulder area logically(as in aiming to jump off) would manage to push cinderblock over.

And it's balance. Beast boy can turn into a dino big enough to EAT cinderblock. Cyborg can shove a cannon right through his head. Raven can just sort of compress him into a ball. Starfire can pelt him with energy blasts. Robin has insane strength.

I do try to watch the Teen Titans every Saturday morning, but it doesn’t always work out like that.

The characters are interesting enough, and the story is decent, but I don’t like the presentation very much. The characters are maybe 14-15, and they have them portrayed as sexually flaunting beings. I mean, just look at Raven. What is she wearing, a black bikini? The same thing happened with Wonder Woman: she used to have this long skirt, but it kept getting shorter and shorter until now. She no longer has one. I find it disgusting that the girls are portrayed in this fashion. Even Starfire, whom is an emotionally challenged girl from a Vulcan set planet, is wearing flaunting clothes. I seriously doubt a superior race would have their children wearing a miniskirt and a shirt that bares her stomach. If they would have a character apparel change, I would watch much more.

My favorite character is Beast Boy, whom has an interesting power and personality. He seems totally ignorant and incompetent, but he’s really a loving guy that comes through for his friends. I can see him as a powerful hero in the future.

My least favorite character is Cyborg. I have always had a distaste for cybernetic organisms, and especially in humans. It’s disgusting the have our sinning flesh mixed in with the pure mechanisms of man. It just doesn’t work out in an ethical way. Besides, he’s a naked guy with metal all over. That just isn’t suitable for children.

(I decided to post this again in the newer thread of the same topic so we can continue the conversation there, rather than in the old one.)

I've always felt he's at a similar level of clothing as uchiha sasuke from naruto.

And I personally find the fusion of man and machine to be the next step of evolution. We've made it too good for us to naturally evolve, so we must take it into our own hands.

And download the eps. Some are on suprnova, but the people who do them, rewindtv, doesn't put them on there anymore. You can get to their site from any of the teen titans eps they have up, where the newer ones are.

Not when Cinderblock braces himself, and it DEFINATELY wouldn't send Cinderblock flying back into a wall.

Robin would logically fall back to the role of tactician and problem-solver. Similar to Batman in the Justice League series. The guy rarely, if ever, gets directly involved in fights with creatures of otherworldly or alien strength. He figures out how to help out by outsmarting them or finding a weakness while the others are busy fighting directly. Batman almost never fights in Justice League, but he still manages to be one of the most important members. THAT is what Robin should be.

Okay, maybe Robin can do that because its...."A Cartoon Show"?

And as for outfits, when you consider that In the original series that this came from, Tamaranians were more comfortable NAKED than in any clothing at all. In fact, Tamranians found clothes to be disgusting and base. They had to practically Force the original Starfire to wear what she did. (not that any of the guy team member were complaining...

As for others, this show is about as unrealistic as you can get. 5-6 heros/heroines, at about 14-16 years old, all living in the same building, by themselves, without any form of adult supervision, and they seem to wear their costumes all the time.

Robin's strength. So they exaggerated. Big deal. It makes it much more interesting to see Robin fighting.

As for the Dick Grayson/Tim Drake thing, they did take starfire to the future where he was shown as being Nightwing.

Then again, Dick Grayson became Nightwing When he left Batman. so theres a little bit of a time discrepancy there.

You people get worked up for the wrong reasons.

Ja, ne?

P.S.: Ah yes, Terra, With her power, if you were being realistic, since Cinderblock is basically made from concrete, which is lots of very small rocks that are glued together, she could just use her powers to "Pull" him apart at a cellular level.

Raven definitely, she is just awesome all around, and regarding redstars comment, In cases of both TT girls neither one is from earth. Not sure about Where Raven is from, but Starfire is from an advanced species, who maybe are above seeing such clothes as provocative. And Raven is kinda a dark loner off the wall type anyways so its probably a self expression thing.

Added after 3 minutes:

and in cyborgs case i agree with whoever said that it was the next step of evolution, nothing unethical as far as im concerned. Humans are only dominant by intelligence, not by actual power on earth, so it makes sense

Yeah, anybody see the Teen Titans comics (not the ones from the show)? They look like freakin' adults! And starfire's costume is totally retarded (and her hairdo.).

If I recall correctly, Raven was born in another plane of existence as the daughter of a demon and a human mother.

Yeah, thats right. As for the comics, Starfire's clothers aren't what I would call dumb. And her hairdo isn't THAT bad, but in the cartoon her hairdo is better.

As for the dick gray/tim drake there is no question, it is grayson. After all, grayson was almost married to starfire in the comic and they have a relationship in the cartoon. Plus, when drake became a titan starfire was like 20.

And, does anyone think that that the titans are a liiiiiiiiiiitle immature in the show? Or maybe alot? I mean, not the stuff they do, just their personaltity and stuff.

Ive always been a big Batman fan, so i go with Robin. But i really dont dislike any of them.

Oh btw, to the people who complain about the girl outfits in TT, have you seen the comics? Star looks like a space hooker, literately. They redesigned them all to fit a younger audiance.

And Cyborg is "naked" and all because he was in a near-death lab accident that killed his mother, and his farther had to act fast so he gave him all the metal parts and stuff (and why the cannon, im not quite too sure ).

Yes, its the simple fact that he doesnt have superpowers, just some nifty gagets and a few years of training and he kicks ass. Not as much ass as Baman, but still he kicks ass. :)

Oh, and for the people who complain about how hes too powerful, has anyone ever noticed his shoes are lined with iron on the bottom?

maybe thats how he hits so hard.

Wouldn't it be sweet if he did some matrix moves with his metal pole like neo? like that one move where he sicks the pole in the ground and "runs" in cirlcles perpendicular to the pole? That would be suh-WEET!

That, and, ive seen in the avatars pics of the teen titans, ed edd and eddy and a bunch of other characters ive wanted to see, but i can'y find the full versions anywhere. Where in teh world are those pics?

Robin is Dick Grayson.

There has been much evidence proving so. First of all, in 'How Long is Forever?' we see that Robin becomes Nightwing in the future, just as he does in the comics. Then, there's Larry, the funny little imp from an alternate dimension. He shared the same DNA as Robin and his name is Dick Grayson spelled backwards (Nosyarg Kcid). Finally, the most SOLID piece of evidence is in the episode, 'Haunted.' When Raven entered Robin's mind, she witnesses various images from Dick's life. One of them, showing Dick with one hand on a book and the other in the air (swearing on the Bible). The other one showed a glimpse of two figures falling from a circus trapeze (Dick's parents)!

Ever since 'Haunted' debuted, it's been pretty much official who Robin really is. Although, I've seen some TT websites where people try to defend their Tim theory by saying that he was in the audience at the circus when Dick's parents died. If this happened in the comics, then it's irrelevant. Even moreso since the TT show doesn't even follow the same continuity as Justice League.

Last thing. There's also the Static Shock episode where he teams up with Batman to stop Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Just because Batman told Static that Robin was "away with the Titans," don't get it twisted! That was just a shameless TT plug thrown in for shits 'n' giggles. What I'm saying is that TECHNICALLY Static follows the the Batman/Superman/Batman Beyond/Justice League continuity. Teen Titans doesn't. It's a brand-new show with no ties to the other DC animations.

Oh, yeah... My favorite Titan is Starfire. She's such a sweetie!

Where the hell are all the Cyborg-haters coming from?!! It's worse than the Terra-haters! At least people actually talk amongst others about how much they dislike Terra. But apparently they think that the name, "Cyborg" isn't even worth passing their fucking lips!

This pisses me off to no end, because Cy is my second-favorite Titan. I get sick of going to TT websites and seeing, like, the armies of anti-Terra cultists, who hate Terra NOT because she was a spy sent by Slade but simply because she "moved in on Beast Boy" and that she "she took him from Raven!" Then there's the ultra-freaky couple shippers who come up with the most bizzare couples and write horrible fanfics about them. These are the strangest ones I've seen: Starfire/Blackfire and Rob/Slade...WTF!

But there is almost NO MENTION OF CYBORG ANYWHERE! Not even an anti-Cyborg HATE GROUP! It's fucking ridiculous and it honestly isn't fair! He's just as cool as the other Titans, yet he get NO RESPECT!

Sorry, everyone. I'll stop it here but SOMEONE has to agree with me about Cyborg, right?

Instead of constantly complaining about 4Kids, why not take action? Why not stop watching their butchered anime programming? You're only providing them with more undeserved ratings! That's what I did... after a while, actually.

I actually tried to give the 4Kids version of One Piece a chance, I REALLY DID! However, as the show progressed, I grew sicker and sicker of all the glaring edits and horrid voices! So, I've decided to avoid watching any 4Kids-related shows, which is a shame because the new Ninja Turtles cartoon is the only 4Kids show worth watching!

Saturday mornings are dead to me... way to go, Al Kahn!
