use lesser known charecters, so you won't get people saying, ' OMG Mario would nevah do That!11!'
"I saw it, there, in the sewers...for just a second. All hunched over, skin pale white beneath those rags...so many rags. The vermin crawled about his feet like idolaters at worship, and I swear that the wind drew breath in a frightened gasp at his passing. He wore cold like a cloak and I swear that behind that smiling golden mask he was laughing at me as his curved blade rose and fell, cutting through my men. It left wounds filled with crystals of salt...the screams...the screams...and the pants....Gods! The Pants!!!"
-Captain Urtin, who salted and ate his former soldiers.

Any pokemon and you will be hated.

But I'd go with Eliwood from Fire emblem. (GBA)
And God looked down upon the mortals and said: "...wtf are you noobs doing on my lawn?"

That's the problem with worshipping the god of schemes. You never quite know whether or not you're being divinely blessed, screwed over royally, or both at the same time.

Aw, come on. Caligula! Banjo-Kazooie was just some warped remake of Super Mario 64.

I'll do a Bleedman tutorial! I was trying to give off hints that I wanted to contribute to the forums like Naur but oh well :( .

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/12677368/

It's something I did a while ago just to try out his style. I could probably make it MUCH better if I had analyzed the style or had drawn it from reference. Bleedman's style is cool but it's really not as hard as some people make it out to be. I'm going to see if I can whip up a tutorial for you guys (Photoshop 7/CS recommended).

Ness, besides being the greatest Nintendo character ever, is also probably one of the easier Nintendo characters to draw. Geno from Super Mario Bros. RPG would be pretty cool as well.

There's virtually no difference other than the fact that CS is a teeny bit faster than 7.

...You know, if you do chose to go down the path of just drawing the cast of SSBM as your charecters, you could do it as "between takes" sort of thing, you know, a basic comic on what they are doing, when we aren't making them fight.

Arez> Your Mandy comics are awesome!! hehe. :D

Added after 5 minutes:

Ack..I should actaully add something to the discussion.

I'd love to see Kid Ikurus (if anyone remembers that game. ^_^;;;)

I would suggest you also sit down and practice sketching out the characters aa bit. Just doing different emotions and poses.

1. You can use the poses in your comic later.
2. Gives you a real feel for the characters. :D

Hey, just a few characters :
- Fox Mac Cloud just rocks !
- I'd rather see Wario instead of Mario, but that's my opinion...
- I agree with acktoo2001, Link & Kirby, must have !
- Is Megaman allowed ? (I mean he's a Capcom character but his firsts games were on NES...)
