I don't get this Mexican, American, thing. I'm a US citizen so maybe I'm ignorant too the world, but last time I checked Mexico was in the Americas too. So isn’t everybody in N/S America an American. I mean, all over the world you have to be from the US to be and american. Call us Yankees of something.

But yea, Translations would be nice for other people.

Well... the world decided that people from the United States of America would be called Americans.

Seriously, doesn't American sound better than United Statesicans?

Americans are called yanks (and fat asses) in other countries, or so I've heard... and it's a derogatory remark because the world hates us. XD

Ehm.....I don't know what exactly you heard about other countries. But I never heard anyone call the Americans yanks or fat asses, at least not in Europe (cause I don't know about other continents). Next time you talk about places outside the US please make sure you know SOMETHING about those countries instead of just saying something you've heard. Because I think that 4/5 it's not exactly true.

Someone's overly critical...it was sarcastic statement based on random banter from this person and that. Get off your pillar.

Actually there language is Spanish. Ever since the're revolution in the early 1800's they have truly been Mexicans. I think it's American's like me, and some of you, that actually kept the whole Hispanic thing around. No offence if I'm wrong about some of this, but I live in Texas, and learned about the revolution about 2 months ago.

Okay. Some corrections. Only North Americans are called Yanks. South Americans are called Red-Necks. Mexico is not part of the United States Of America. This is according to what I have been told

I meant that Texans have to live with the shame of knowing Bush came from their state.
