I don't really know. The conversation most of us have been having is why he got the organs, rather than how. One of the theories on how, that I find very probable, is that since he's a very famous prodigy that he probably just asked and got. That's what I'm sticking with, unless Bleedman tells me otherwise.

Perhaps at first the android will start "thinking" and "acting" like Dee Dee, but sooner or later (more likely sooner), Dexter will slowly come to terms that the android Dee Dee can never be the same like the genuine Dee Dee. Because of this, he'll either have to:

A) destroy the android and move on
B) deactivate the android and keep it in some sort of cryogenic casing-thing (or something of that extent) as a remembrance "shrine" to Dee Dee
C) completely take it out on Mandark and try to ease his soul once he takes him out
D) kill himself and hope to meet Dee Dee in the afterlife (though very improbable of happening if he were to kill himself)

Of course, there's other options, but those are just the ones I thought up of from the top of my head. What do you guys think?[/b]

I think that he'll try to preserve the DeeDee android, only to have her stolen by someone later on. The reprogrammed DeeDee android will go on a killing and destroying rampage, and Grim will be convinced to revive DeeDee's soul to stop the android fake.

I don't think Dexter will ever kill himself. This comic isn't that much more serious than the shows.

Plus, the way Dexter goes about doing things is important for story purposes. To me, seeking out external sources to obtain body parts and then putting them together piecemeal is a lot darker and more disturbing than growing them yourself in a scientific manner, and is a lot more effective in providing the reader some insight into Dexter's frame of mind.

I also like to see the whole thing as a limit being placed on Dexter's abilities. Bleedman shows that in this story arc, Dexter's gotta WORK for some things as opposed to everything magically being built overnight, as often happens in his own cartoon. It's an important thing to establish, because otherwise Dexter becomes a Deus Ex Machina, and a shallow character.

Deus Ex Machina characters kick ass. They always show up at the right time to save the day.

On the subject of neither Blossom nor Otto hearing that Dee Dee was talking to Dexter (Heart under the floorboards), Dee Dee's mouth clearly opens when she talks. Uhm... yeah. Her eyes open too.

And if you remember in that one episode where Dexter goes to mars (with Dee Dee as a stowaway), he brings back dee dee as a specimen of life from mars to some scientific commitie. So, Dexter's obviously got at least some connections.

Or it could be that there was a mistake in the text? One of those things you regret after putting it in, but that's just another one of thseo "unlikley stories."

I didn't expect to see the android talk, or Deedees spirit talk which ever it was. Dexter is so sad I want to give him a hug. As for Mandark My brother says that Dexter should blow Mandarks brains out. I'm not a violent person but technically it was mandarks fault cause he was controling the "Jackbots". So I agree with my brother, but I know that is not going to happen because Mandark was snoopin on Dexter and Blossom. So the pain and suffering that Mandark is going through is just gonna have to do. I hope he learned his lesson.

Personally i thought that it was very fitting due to the remorse he feels it make since he knew something was coming he just didnt know that i would be the death of his sister let alone at the hands of the very person who would be the last person to hurt her it just seems like somthing like that would really hurt and just judging from the direction that the story is taking Dexter is willing to do any thing to bring back a sister that should not have been there.

He could fake them? That seems most probable... He could have gotten the organs by saying "I need these organs for a transplant" and gone on to say "it was a complete success" because, techincally, it would be a transplant (into an android, but still...), and he could get readings from machines that say it went fine.

Oh, there was this one other episode where Dee Dee's fish dies, and Dee Dee doesn't want to flush it down the toilet, and the fish's ghost starts haunting Dexter and Dee Dee. Eventually, Dee Dee and Dexter catch the fish's spirit (think ghostbusters) and Dee Dee gets pulled inot the toilet by octopus arms. Then her "spirit" or whatever comes in the shower mist and tells dexter thatthe other fishes want the dead fish to be flushed down the toilet. Uhm... Yeah, that was a good one. Dee Dee's spirit talking after she's dead shouldn't be unexpected... maybe later we'll see Dee Dee appear as a "ghost" when things get too out of hand. But only time will tell. You can't rush prefection...

Her eyes and mouth were open because she was busy being operated on. Just because they were open doesn't mean she was currently animated. Dexter could have kept them open in order to keep some sense of life in her. I don't think he would want to look at a dead DeeDee, even if it was just an android.
