I try and only use words like that in extreme cases.
"Worst case scenario I'll get arrested for public nudity.
Best case scenerio I'll get arrested for public nudity with a boner. It's win win.

Usually I go "aww" and that's it.

My most used Japanese word would be the honorifics.

Kawaii is a word,
I wouldn't use for this.
For no mortal word can describe,
The cuteness of this pic.

You must first understand that some Japanese words are Chinese words. Kawaii written as such is "Cute" in Chinese.

Does anyone here actually know what the word "cute" means?
For those that don't, it means ugly, yet interseting. Sorry if i offended anyone.
And, yet, it does look pretty good. My compliments to the artist.

tch, so if you called your girlfriend 'cute,' you're actually insulting her.

cute means something lovable. you don't call your little 3yearold cousin [ugly, yet interesting] and then proceed to huggle/take pictures/pick up and twirl around-- for wearing a powerpuff girl haloween costume. you call her "lovably cuddably wonderful"

le sigh

Word History: Cute is a good example of how a shortened form of a word can take on a life of its own, developing a sense that dissociates it from the longer word from which it was derived. Cute was originally a shortened form of acute in the sense “keenly perceptive or discerning, shrewd.â€

ahh! YOU DONATED
that IS cute xD

really though, i have no clue what dictionary defines "cute" as that. and i really doubt that any respectable printed dictionary will use "Ugly but interesting" as a definition of cute.

actually, i think that this is another of those "this is this, it says so in the dictionary" "really???? i believe you because it's interesting and i won't bother looking it up for myself" type of thing
(like how people believed Fargo was based in a true story because it said so in the film)
