Not an exact representation. Either something new or a loos adaptation.

Do you want to see shows that reference rape, abortion, suicide, 911, incest, necrophilia, pedophilia, stalking and poor hygiene on cartoon network? Or would you rather see a series that is intelligently written so as to slip it's dark and disturbing themes past the radar without being in your face by saying "look at me, I'm dark and edgy". But then people can complain about anything.

While I can't say the idea sounds all that appealing, I feel like I just wanna help Maxwell Atoms because of Maxwell Atoms.

I just don't get it.

Why would Bleedman decline the offer?!

Maxwell Atoms made the characters his series is based on, has connections with CH Greenblatt (chowder) and Warburton (KND) and worked on cartoon network.

Why would he give that up?

How does he make money anyway, not that he should do it just for the money, but this was his chance to get paid for doing something you love.

Yes, maybe it was just his life's dream to draw Lolis and OCs for for people with more money on their hands than they know what to do with. And of course making cartoons that become televised worldwide would have just gotten in the way of that.

Wait, do I sound bitter? I'm sorry I just can't understand it. He could have had a genuinely good reason for all we know.

He takes his own work very seriously with pride.

That really is not a good excuse to me. No one has ever had so much pride while drawing small girls in swimsuits? If he really took his work so seriously then he should be looking to new opportunities to expand his career.

That's just Bleedman. If you've been working so hard on something for nearly a decade wouldn't you want to see it finished? I doubt he even does it for the money.

He does. A lot of money.
One of the reasons he doesn't update these comics often is because he's busy drawing for people that payed for commissions.

We don't even know when it was that he asked. It could have been years ago. Bleedman makes these comics in the time his is not working for money. He could have continued the comic even then. I just expected an animated work would be something he would put allot of value in.

Is he really updating it that little though? I mean, he's posting a new Grim Tales page every week or so. I'm not sure about the other comics since I haven't gone through the archives, but I feel like 1 page a week for the quality that is being produced is honestly not that bad. Especially if he's getting paid for other commissions. After all, a man's gotta eat.

The updates are infrequent, but that's not the issue being addressed.

We're questioning the choice of declining the chance to get his work animated.

Honestly I think I would understand if someone he knew was dying. I just can't think of what else would make someone say "No I don't want t see my own art brought to life in a cartoon that would be televised across all of america and further, but thanks for asking".

well considering he already did the same to CN when asked for his help for their game, im not that surprised that he did decline.

though im also with the agreement that he should have joined up so that we may have a chance for GT(and PPGD and SB) to be animated.
also as for the comment of being animesque, well teen titans would like to have a word with you.

Seriously though...GT and PPGD, I'd honestly hate to see animated. MAYBE, the fight scenes are acceptable, but the rest of it?
It'd just be a huge let down.

All this talk of Bleed's work being animated reminded me of this video. Bleed didn't do this, just a guy who was a fan of PpGD (That would explain GT and SB characters being in there).

Obviously he would not be the one writing. But imagine it were to have the writers of, say, Teen Titans or one of your favourite cartoons. What then?
