Maxwell Atoms creator of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy has a kickstarter for an AMAZING new web series hes doing! Please check it out and if you can't donate then PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD share the video because it really could use the exposure barely anyone knows its happening!

And he even had nothing but nice things to say about Bleedman even though he got rejected by him! He should get $50,000 just for that alone!

Damn...you know your doing something right when the creator of your fan comic actually asks you to help them with a project they are working on. Good on ya Bleedman! As for this...this sounds interesting! If I can scrape up a few extra bucks I'll throw them his way. Bring on the exploding puppets!

Wow. Is that for real? Where's the link to the website where Maxwell made that comment?

As for the web serous, I wish I could have seen the video, but I couldn't get it to play.

Wait- what? BLEEDMAN Declined?

The hell?

Re: DEAD MEAT

I too feel like it was a bad choice. It could have been a chance to get his work animated.

Dude, I would love to see Bleed's art in full animation.

Consider it done.

This could rival Bravest Warriors for my favorite animated web series.

Wow. What of the odds? But anyways, make yourself at home, and make sure to read the rules also.

Instead of asking him to help working on a new projects, he should have asked Bleedman to make Grim Tales into a real TV show

The thing is, what channel would take up a story like Grimm Tales? Let's face it, CN wouldn't pick up something like this. Heck, I don't think most basic cable would pick up a show like Grimm Tales. You're talking about a tale that involves incest, obsessive lesbians, pretty crazy violence, even if it's cartoony, demonic possession, multiple cases of dismemberment...it would have to be on something like HBO or Cinemax.

Now an Internet show? I could definitely see that.

They don't have to animate GT. They could've just worked on a different project altogether.

Re: DEAD MEAT

Exactly. In my mind when the creator of something you based your own work on says "I like what you do. Would you like to work on a project together" you don't think "Instead of that, he should have just offered to make my work animated" and you really shouldn't think "Thanks but I am very busy drawing this guy a picture of an underage cartoon girl naked to do something that might further my career". You should say "thank you so much for this opportunity". Or something like that.

Ari you're killing me here xD

Re: DEAD MEAT

adult swim could pick it up. they take in all the good screwy stuff after all

Re: DEAD MEAT

Fri Oct 25, 2013 5:13 pm

Except that the main characters are all owned or derivative of assets owned by Cartoon Network

Re: DEAD MEAT

Fri Oct 25, 2013 5:27 pm

true and not to mention that grimtales also contains Nickelodeon characters. CN gave adult swim bionic titan so there is that

Re: DEAD MEAT

Fri Oct 25, 2013 5:37 pm

The nickelodeon characters are negligible but all together GT represents 3 major properties of CN. Granted they have not done anything with them in years but I do not think there is any chance of them selling them on. I just can not wrap my head around what kind of person Bleedman is to have said no. If he had agreed and best case scenario, he went on to have a major role in creating popular shows, then the idea of a GT series may not be that far fetched. But it would probably be very different from the GT we know now.

Can you imagine all the dark and cool stuff they could have done together?!

I would have liked to see why they could have come up with.

Re: DEAD MEAT

I honestly cannot see bleed's work being animated. It simply doesn't fit in my mind correctly to see any anime based on his work. The plot for his comics aren't really episodic to begin with.

maybe one day bleed will show some animation work until then i hold my judgement and continue to enjoy the comic art
