We saw in GT, Minnie's hourglass shatter when she died even though she was technically already in an Underworld realm when she died, she was not yet dead. But if everyone who was to die was already somewhere in the Underworld realms, that would mean all of the weight of their sins and deeds -- their karma -- would already be measured, because that would determine to which realm they would go. Which falls solidly into Predestination, Fate, Destiny.

I say we make it nice and simple, because the K.I.S. principle is awesome at helping to keep things straight. To paraphrase,

"I think therefore I reap."

Predestined? Grim doesn't seem to be on top of 'death'. Seeing as Minnie died and Grim had no clue. To me it felt more like he had sensed the holy energy from the angel, and reacted to that.

Please do not discuss GT in the PpGD thread.

I wonder when the balance of this little brawl will shift.

Oh my bad, I didn't realize it was the PPGD page.
I'll bring up this convo elsewhere when I get the chance, unless someones else beats me to it.

I'd enjoy Sam using the logic of, "I don't have to win, as long as they lose."

That or the head biting. At least I think that was Zangief that did that.

I was more referring to how Zangief would do that move, but the person's face would be facing the other direction. As a kid I was quite traumatized by seeing him do that considering how he was dressed, and having him do that to my characters. http://youtu.be/aKxAujA382E?t=44s <- how Zangief preforms the move >,>;;

Buttercup on the other hand is a much more classier fighter. Plus, the way she is preforming the move, Bell stands to receive more damage as her head is freer to whip about and smash into the ground without obstruction. The way Zangief preforms the move, his thighs and what not actually brace the victim's head, allowing only the top part of their skull to make contact with the ground. The way Buttercup did the move, the top back of Bell's head is making contact in three locations to the floor, and her neck is contorting causing more damage. Head, neck and back trauma all in one package.

"... who else will squash head between thighs like sparrow's egg?"
- Zangief, Wreck-It Ralph

Is that where that comes from? I'd no idea.

I don't think it's meant to be that technical, Yamitora1: this is Buttercup. She just likes using all kinds of moves. Plus, she's proving she's the STRONGEST ONE THERE IS!!

Buttercup may be the strongest, but I feel she is less skilled than the other fighters. In a fight between her and Blossom, I feel she would lose.

I kinda wonder if someone sort of unexpected third party will intervene in this fight. Any thoughts on the matter?

As far as hunches go, the best I got is some sort of distraction that lets Bell and the others gain the upper hand, something that gives them time to set the bomb for detonation. Other than that, I'd go with your idea of third party intervention.

I had a pretty far-fetched theory. What if it's the Time Squad that reconnects the power to the tower and sets the bomb off? If this Bomb somehow starts off Jack's quest to save the world and prevent the apocalypse, and is also the thing that causes the Time Squad to exist in the first place, then setting it off would might be for the greater-good. I know that's not a great theory, but I thought I'd just throw that out there.

Hello, fyeahblossomxdexter, welcome to the forums! Please take some time to read the rules and I hope you enjoy your stay!
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."
