The Nergal never fails to make me laugh lol. I'm really surprised by how patient Jr. is being with Mimi. If it was me I would have blown a fuse already.

I would have probably enjoyed it. I think it is similar to how a cat will bite/claw your hand affectionately and still draw blood. So this might be Mimi's way of displaying affection, or she is just a mentally traumatized child. Who knows?

I'm hoping Mimi will calm down after she eats the muffin. I'm guessing she's attacking Junior since she isn't thinking clearly due to hunger.

Re: It pains to be a hero

Sun Aug 25, 2013 12:46 pm

Possibly. I believe she was attacking Jr though before hunger was even an issue.

Mimi definitely developed a certain taste for Nergal blood at this point. I mean with all that biting, she might be an addict by now :D Not that an addiction is the only unethical thing about her.

Mimi, get Jr's one eyed tentacle out of your mouth! o.O

How is Mimi's white dress still clean after the green blood splatter? I know it's not really relevant but that is the thing that caught me.

Re: It pains to be a hero

Sun Aug 25, 2013 6:36 pm

Maybe in the next page the dress is full with green blood.

@Yamitora1: Do we want to know what you are implying (just so I don't imply I know what your metaphor is)?

Mimi's first and final reaction to Junior seems to be to bite him. Maybe she doesn't recognize him since he's in his skeletal form, or maybe she never really liked him. Still, it confirms for me that the symbiote is in more danger of injury than Junior himself. And speaking of symby, what would one have to do with Blossom and Mimi's memories of killing her?

"It's muffin time, sir!" Seriously. Where's a Normbot when you need one.

Friendship is not bull, Symby. Just ask Discord. Naturally, if Fluttershy was there instead of Junior they'd already be quiet friends. Yes, I doubt even Mimi is immune to a look from Fluttershy. And if it was Pinkie Pie, they'd be loud-parties-every-day friends.

Well, Junior is showing his patience. But Minnie has already run out of patience for him. Who wants more Bada$$ery?

I was under the impression that Mimi killed blossom while in the Her form. And since the esscence seems like a symbiote,I was thinking maybe Mimi would blame it as much as Him for making her kill blossom. Basically I mean that Mimi hates being Her as well as symbiotes(like if she didn't have the esscence, she wouldn't have been able to kill blossom).Sorry, but I'm not getting any better at explaining myself.

Maybe someone else knows what I'm trying to say?

You're trying to say Mimi has 2 personalities to help cope with the trauma. Human Mimi and Her. Without the symbiote's influence, Her wouldn't have manifested and do what what she did. That's how I interpreted it.

Just saying, this wouldn't be the first Bleed work that features a little girl with split personalities, one forcing the other to do things that went against her morals.

Are you talking about sugarbits? I can not think of anything else.

No I'm not implying Jr's Tentacle blood tastes like lime jello.

Anyways, I wonder how she will react when she learns it was Jr. that brought her that muffin. Lets hope she doesn't tear him apart looking for more.

ari-6 wrote:Are you talking about sugarbits? I can not think of anything else.

Sugar Bits was a little different, in my opinion. I took it as Ginger and Licorice being part of the same person, but her time in that world caused her rage to take form as a individual. I'm a little disappointed with how that part ended.

Tenshi Nova wrote:You're trying to say Mimi has 2 personalities to help cope with the trauma. Human Mimi and Her. Without the symbiote's influence, Her wouldn't have manifested and do what what she did. That's how I interpreted it.

I don't think the Him Virus has a different personality like the Nergal Symbiote does. I get the impression that it is more crude, and manifests the dark emotions of the bearer.

Breach wrote:I was thinking maybe Mimi would blame it as much as Him for making her kill blossom.

Haven't seen anything to suggest that yet.

Breach wrote: I mean that Mimi hates being Her as well as symbiotes(like if she didn't have the esscence, she wouldn't have been able to kill blossom).

Transforming into Her probably feels terrible, but I don't know if she hates it while she is her. Mimi gains her power through the seven deadly sins and has to not brush, but dive into the darkest emotions to get her powers. the comic doesn't reveal that, but the character sheets the site use to hold a long time ago did. It could have changed at that point in time, but I think the comics supported it with the seven deadly sins page.

Breach wrote:Sorry, but I'm not getting any better at explaining myself.

You're fine. I think the general idea got out there. Interesting idea.

Welcome to Wonderland, children
Where the grass is blue and the sky is green and no one can hear you scream.
Welcome to Wonderland, kiddies
Where the flowers are beautiful and the people are beautiful and when they pull your heart out, you'll be beautiful too.
Welcome to Wonderland, my friends
Where nothing is as it seems but everything is so painfully obvious.
Welcome to Wonderland, where it's kill or be killed and there is nothing wondrous about it.

Enjoy your stay.

So, can we stop with the poem spam :p

@Blood
I see what you mean by the symbiote. I counter with you later statement on Mimi having to use the 7 sins. I think Mimi doesn't like doing so, while Her gets that high from it.
