It could be possible that bleedman will publish an alternate ending thus creating the prelude we see in grim tales. I can only hope :D

How do I explain this...

PpGD and GT are two separate universes, where the division happened a really, really long time ago as explained in a upcoming Samurai Jack side story. We also know more about the Avengers 2 more than this side story.
