Such tragedy to happen to Mimi. She lost her mother and her friends.

its a shame though, its really looking like it will be a looong time before we really know the details...

the page sort of makes me think that blossom probably didnt show up during her bday, maybe the day after it. considering its just this, and didnt have one of those typical scenes where she shows up off-panel and the character notices them.

But I suppose remembering about her past would not make Mimi all that happy, considering her (more) current state. No, she's not in her happy place. And that chakra broke quite easily. I wonder if she meant to do that, or if it's because of the emotional burden and her increased strength as HER.

There is much to regret, but only in living in the past.

Nope. This is the icon that we see on Mimi's forehead during the rest of the comic. Her thing never had a gem in it, it was always gold.
