Just how much COULD HIM have planned? He knew how Junior likes helping people, particularly how he tried to help Mimi both before and after he found out she was HER. HIM also knows about Minnie's feelings about Junior because of the whole Sin (Lust/Wrath) incident. That means HIM knew that if he send Mimi to Mandy's castle Junior would try to intervene on Mimi's behalf if she got caught -- and if she managed to conquer Horror's Hand somehow and get out, that would mean HIM would possess the target so no skin off him if she actually succeeded. But seeing as Mimi was caught, the one most likely to take appropriate action against her would be experienced mercenary Mandy, who would be just gutsy enough to try to add unattached demonic essence to her collection of Stuff in the same vault in which Horror's Hand is stored. And if Junior is around to intervene for Mimi, Minnie would also be present. And envious. That is called 'demon bait,' the first part of a classic 'bait and switch' gambit. Question is, how much does Mandy suspect?

And will Minnie's anger be enough for the demonic essence to assume enough control of Minnie for a snatch-and-run? A demonic-empowered Minnie who still has partial control over Junior's Nergal is a distinct possibility. She might control the Nergal to take Junior with her, but the easier thing to do would be to re-absorb it for a further power-up. I think that's sufficiently evil.

Looks like all dem darkness might have a new host soon...

I don't think that the essence is going into Minnie (and then it happens in the next page) but rather is forming HIM out of it so that he can attack Grim and Mandy immediately.

I believe that it may go for Minnie not in that form but in the form of someone that Minnie finds more attractive than junior and it will try to wooh her to the point that she will do whatever evil it tells her to do, or to the point where she trusts it and then it does the symbiote type thing and gets on her and makes her really powerful and stuff and... yeah( just by using that concept, and because I think it happened in the old show)...... it could make since.., maybe?

I'm pretty sure Minnie's heart belongs to Junior so I don't think that would work.

I meant the whole "emotional attachment" and "convincing them they're doing the right thing" kinds of logic, but yeah, she doesn't have "romantic feelings" for her father. Though if she did that would just be creepy...

As we have said many times it would be extremely difficult to make a show of PPGD or Grim Tales because they have multiple copyright issues. Such things should be obvious enough for people to stop suggesting making such programs. It'd take too long to acquire the copyrights for everything that gets featured anyway.

And so far those are like the only three kids (from what I can remember) that hasn't died yet.
So it probably just make its own body.
Maybe Alex Mercer since his powers, for the most part, are similar to Juniors.
