And if you ask me I don't think Minnie told Jr to latch on with his claw slash mouth. I think it was his decision. Minnie is the "I would rather finish you off myself then let someone else do it" type. besides we would have seen her command it to do so. in the picture the middle tentacle wasn't present therefore it was of it's own accord more than likely to get revenge for her earlier beating on their body.
