questions
first, is this to inform the reader because near future events?
second, why does this say 7 layers when an earlier page said 8?
third, why are 2 of the layers absent from the list?
forth, is Trigon among them? (since raven is in GT i can only assume her father is too.)
and finally fifth, does the mention of aku after the last page make anyone else feel it wasn't a joke?

Also, I can't seem to find it... But there's this one cartoon with a blond boy as the main character. The mayor is a devil and a female character is a necromancer?

I don't remember what it's called, but the city they live in might qualify as one of the 2 lesser realms.

3. The girl in the previous page has somthing to do with Aku and most likely blossom

Yes. This page reveals a lot to us on how the underworld is constructed and organized. My suspicions are that the underworld and hell are two separate realms of existence.

I suspect that there are other realms that exist that don't count in the Earthly Underworld, such as Trigon's. He isn't an Earthly Demon, so his realm wouldn't be located here, but somewhere else.

As the comic said, these are the five most feared rulers. I can only suspect that the other level could have something like Halloween Town, or that town isn't in the Underworld at all. Point is that those two levels aren't much of a threat, or the focus.


I explained this earlier in the post, but I will again. Trigon is an extraterrestrial demon, and not an Earthly Demon. The rulers of this underworld all had some link to the earth in the past, usually their place of creation. Because of that you can consider that this is Earth's Underworld, and Trigon's realm would belong to a different world's/area's underworld, or a completely different realm/dimension all together. I find this assumption to be most entertaining since Trigon could also have been killed by now by the Adult Raven, or didn't survive his encounter with her in the Teen Titans. I forget what happened at the end of that episode.

Oh my god! AKU!!! He is probably my favorite villain in cartoon network. No offense to everyone the likes HIM, I think he's cool in this comic too, but Aku is just awesome! I still remember my favorite quote from episode 1 of Samurai Jack:

Jack: *shouts out* AKUUUUUU!!!!!!!

Aku: *appears in front of Jack* Who Dares to summon the Master of Masters...the Deliverer of Darkness, the Shogun of Sorrow, Aku.

I hope Bleedman uses it. I got a couple of questions myself though, srry for the long post. Like for for example, Aku's retired!? What's up with that!? I didn't even know Aku COULD retire.

and do you guys think that Him and Aku are gonna duke it out? That'd be pretty epic!

Five out of seven ain't bad. Seven's a lucky number. Like Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, right? So what's eight? It's Death the Kid's favourite number.

I guess Griddles has been working overtime, allowing many errors past him. Would it be rude to point out all of them?

It seem HIM, the Warden, Aberdeen, and even Aku are not as highly feared as Mandy. For a formerly-mortal human, that's damned impressive -- not to mention Bada$$. Aku is probably only retired in the sense that he's no longer trying to conquer the world. Considering he rules one of the top Domains of Hell, I would say he is not doing too shabbily. And that's after Jack slashed him to pieces with his sword. Nice move.

An entire Domain named for Castle Grimskull. That's some nice ego, Mandy (well-earned, given the above).
