Hmm. I seem to have found use for the account I made for this forum after loosing interest to post before. Commenting on a Naruto Future Parody Comic.

I cannot figure out whose daughter this is. All the others we've seen so far have had some tell tale signs of who their parents are. Or just a flat out this is who their parents are. I am however gonna take a wild guess from how her facial expressions and attitude in each panel are and say she is Shikamaru's Daughter.

That is what I was thinking. Just look at her facial expressions and attitude and tell me that doesn't remind you of Shikamaru. And Temari would be the only likely choice for his wife. Also, her name is like their names Combined. Shikai Shikamaru anf Temari.

I consider a comic for it's content not what it's based off of, if it's about an emo teen that just learns to pilot a mech, which is super cliche but they pull it off better than NGE I'll watch it. A concept doesn't make anything good, it just makes it original, how they pull it off is what does it for people.

I am saying this with no small amout of dread, as this might land me a digital life of ridicule, but...
I have occationally read FanFictions of Naruto. Don't get the wrong idea, there are countless rediculous
stories, plus the fact that I'm pretty picky about them. There were very few stories I enjoyed, the ones I do had a somewhat darker feeling to them.

The reason I mentioned this is to have a background to hold this comic to. You see, the thing about this comic that keeps me intruiged is the unique combination of art style and actual appearance of the characters. The comic wouldn't be a hundreth the fun if all the kids had outright perfect appearences and personalities, as in quite a few fanfictions. I almost dare say this is a realistic take on a "what if" story. Not all things can go well when you have a God-knows-how-old fox-demon sealed in your abdomen.

Also, no OCs that seem lackluster. Every original character has a feel to them when you read the comic. Not everyone is 100% happy-go-lucky, or 100% emo, or any of those extremities. They feel HUMAN.

In case of TL;DR:
I like this comic because the plot and characters can not feature in Mary Sue's biography
