My cousins live in Canada and great grandpa and great grandma.
I end up getting to go there once a year.

But Blood Lord is right, it's a whack justice system. I can't judge who's is worse, the U.S.'s or Canadian's system <.<

I can say from personal experience that the Canadain Justice System is...odd.
No, I've never been sued, nor have I sued someone. I did however go to the Edmonton Courthouses once though, for a Law Class Field Trip.
It was the most annoying thing ever. The room placement was confusing, the schedule was totally unreadable, and then the one actual case me and my friends in my class did sit in on didn't have a whole ton of meaning. It seemed like a whole ton of nonsense.
Or here's an actual example of law system failure that I read in my law book. A guy was arrested for rape and sentenced to hanged, even though no physical evidence was ever produced. His lawyer did manage to win an appeal, but the guy still wound up in jail for...12 years I think. He was set free after the case was finally revisited and physical evidence proved his innocence, but still, he missed the best years of his life...

Anyway...I know I love being Canadian. Especially since I live in Alberta! Why? Cause we pay some of the lowest taxes in the world! We pay for it however by having drivers who make New Yorkers look like saints of the road.

I've heard of such cases like that Zhane... and I'd have to say us Americans got a guy with something similar. He was convicted of murder or committing tax fraud and sentenced for close to life.
Anywho, 30-50 years later the case was revisited and he was set free... He was robbed of not just his best years, but his LIFE!!!
Justice sucks...

And P.S. at least New Yorkers have the leisure of having most things necessary to live in walking distance... Do they have that in Alberta too?
