I've read through this ENTIRE thing before posting so I wouldn't be ignorant to whats going on. Also, I am being careful on my grammar so is not to be attacked by said grammar Nazi's.

So, as I sit here digesting the 'end' of Grim tales I can only be delighted at the prologue of After Birth that is around the corner. (be it possibly a year or more AROUND said corner.) Even more so at the concept of a book and possible animation. Because, I will be trying to be first to actually buy Grim tales.

Though, I do worry about copyright and so on, especially sense MANY character's brought into the comic are from many places. Spawn, Jack Skellington ect, Billy and Mandy, Powerpuff girls (using HIM), and so on, this could go on and on. I wonder how he will managed to do a book/ animation piece and make actual money with all the legal crap that might come with it, everyone wanting their piece. Which would incredibly suck. Especially if lawsuits became involved.

From my understanding, in Japan you can make Doujinshi and sell it/ make money without a lawsuit. But here, people aren't that giving. Especially many comic book makers (dealing in spawn) they will try and put poor Bleedman though the ringer.

About the whole, brotherly love, sisterly love and so on. It's clear Mini wants something more, though Jr seems very frightened/ put off by this. (not that I'm blaming him here) It's one sided, yes, but to Mini this may be true love.

I speculate that Jr will find a way to return his love to Minnie, but it is not going to be how Minnie expresses it, but in his own way. As for Minnie, looking at the sketches of After Brith, I would have to say that Minnie clams down. While she may still love her brother, the range and intensity have decreased out to a considerable degree. Especially since Minnie is now a eternal i, and Jr might have married Mimi.

We are talking about the underworld. A space that is filled with demons, and monsters form our very nightmares. However, since this is a cartoon related version, based off of Maxwell Atoms, it could be logical to assume that it is a more "family" based situation, then it would be in our reality.

BUT Bleedman enjoys putting the cartoon world into more darker realities, than the cartoons were originally based in. Makes the funner to read.

I would say that incest is not a concerning factor in the underworld, but still frowned apon, such as we do here. There really is no need for incestuous relationships in the underworld. Originally, incest was because there were none others present, although that need quickly changed, and re-evolved to maintaining the pure "royal" blood line. Rome did it, Ancient Persia did it, Egypt did it, nearly every historic world power has stepped over the line only to do two things. Preserve the blood line, give an heir.

Now we have seen no evidence that any of the Underworld Kingdoms have resorted to this measure.
And since most of them rule for a very long time...

One is not related by blood alone.

Minnie is more of a zombie eternal i, than a leaf-filled rag doll.

Although the creator is the same, Minnie's body has not be in decay for long. While blood may no longer run, or even be present with in her, I don't think they stuffed her full of leaves.
