is it really?! oh that really bums me out . i love this comic its my favorite one -plus there was no hellboy in it and i thought there was gonna be- i check this comic like every 3 days. i wondered why it wasnt updating and i was actually hoping it was something wrong with the computer and not that it had ended. i really hope you start this up again a lot of people would really appreciate it

It's not that they're stupid (or at least some of them aren't).
It's just that they're treating this thread (and other update threads) as some sort of "Youtube comment" section.
They don't see this place as a community forum.
Because to them, he's just part of the crowd.
They don't recognize him as someone important because they haven't met or even have known of him before.

First, nobody will believe you since you have the grammar abilities of a thrid-grader.
