this is finally starting to make sense.... because at first, I didn't realise who they were... but now I understand that your putting us into the main story, and what is supposed to happen before meating the main characters... I think... I might be wrong.

it's quite interesting. From the woman's expression it seems she is uncaring about their mission or distant with the one she's talking to maybe even both.

Technically by going by japanese history, Samurai could do it quite easily seeing as ninja had always feared them. Nearing the end of the feudal era in Japan, When Japan was united under two rulers those set rulers had ordered all Samurai under their reign to annihilate all ninja's something that the samurai did effectively well to a point where ninja were merely a legend afterwards despite some still practicing in secret. So long story short if this comic follows real life events with samurai and ninja. Samurai>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ninja

I think I get the side backgrounds in the Naruto comic.

The ones on the left are Ninjas and the ones on the right side are Samurais.

It's a comic with 2 different sides of the story, right?

Now that you mention it Blood Lord that woman does remind me of a certain blue flame wielding princess with perfectionist qualities.
