Naruto 125

Postby Kazuo Kiriyama » Thu Mar 10, 2005 1:24 am

That's right kiddies, it's that time of the week. Naruto 125 is out and subbed. Get it wherever you get your fix. I'll let you know my opinions on it tomorrow, since it's late.

EDIT: And remember no manga spoilers please, anime discussion only.

Wow, this episode reminds me why I love Naruto so much :D

New changes to the opening which are really cool.

And Kankurou is AWESOME now. Especially with his new face paint and second puppet. So fucking cool now, as if he wasn't cool enough before.

Temari's pretty cool too, though I thought Tayuya went down a little too easily. But her summon still rocks.

I can't wait to see Gaara kick ass next episode. And Zabuza was in the preview, he apparently has something to do with Kimimaro, and I really want to see because I love Zabuza to death.

Awesome. Freaking awesome. Sound went down a bit too easy in my opinion. But it made so much sense that I'm ok with it. and Puppet guy SHREADING him was perfect. I love love Naruto. Next episode is going to be an all time great.

Ha, man, there were 2 points in this episode where I thought "Oh, he's boned." Both being in the Kankurou fight.

Well i knew what would happen but it was freakin awesome. I simply loved how the puppet technique of Kankuro looked in the Anime. And i can`t await to see the fight Garaa vs Kimimarou. This will own so much.^__^

Haha I read your post Kazuo, it's what I was obscurely referencing in my first post.

The revelation of Zabuza threw me completely for a loop.

I was *wondering* why Kankuro had his wrapped thingy on his back when he already had his puppet out.
I thought to myself "Gee, either the art department screwed up and forgot that his puppet's already out there... or... there we go"

The episodes can only get better from here.

Yeah, the two on two thing was awesome, though Sakon and Ukon went down too easily, as did Tayuya.

Plus, they wasted 5 minutes by having Shikamaru explain Tayuya's abilities to Temari, only to have her die with one technique.

Yeah but that was the best explanation to date. lil Shikamaru looked AWESOME. And I agree the two did go down WAY too easy it wasn't even a fight for the Sand. But I'm OK with that because now a full episode for Gara. WEEEEE.

I dunno. Tiny shikamaru, kiba, and Naruto sneaking up on Sakon and Tayuya was pretty damn awesome.

I thought it was awesome and yeah i was shocked to, but it`s great to see Zabuza in an Anime episode once again, i mean last time he played a big part was in episode 19 and that was the one in which he died. In depth character flashbacks are allways cool. God i really can`t wait for the next episode.

Yup the Sand shinobi are the strongest of all Genin teams. They are the only team with 3 very talented, skillfull, hard working and intelegent shinobi`s. Also all 3 differ from each other in fighting style which is good and makes them very dangerous as a team. Not even team 7 or team Guy can compare with them.

exactly. they're the best genin team by a mile.

they also have the best themes overall(although rock lee's is the best, the rest of that team has horrible themes, if they have any at all.).

I won't argue that the Sand genin aren't the most powerful team. But I don't think you can say they're all hard-working; we don't know how much of what they can do is a result of hard work and how much is pure talent. The difference for the Sand team is that Temari kicks serious ass.

The other genin teams all seem to be limited by their female members. Sakura has been holding back her team for some time, Hinata hasn't lived up to her potential yet, Ino is a one trick pony that can quickly turn into a liability instead of an asset, and Tenten... er, we just don't know a damned thing about Tenten except that we've seen nothing to suggest she's anywhere near the level of Rock or Neji.

As for complementing fighting styles, I dunno. I guess the Sand genin do complement each other the best, but I think that the Kiba-Shino-Hinata team would complement each other incredibly well, too. In fact, if Hinata gets rid of her mental block and shows some of that Hyuuga pride, her team matches up very well with the Sand (Shino vs. Gaara, Kiba vs. Kankuro, Hinata vs. Temari).

Yeah Feenyx you said everything I wanted to. The female ninjas are the ones holding the teams back EXCEPT on the Sands and that's the huge difference. Hinata has the potential to be the best so her team wins in the long run. Sakura so far just blows. Naruto's team just got dismembered anyways though with Sasuke being a little prick. I dunno. Any team with Gara on it is automatically freaking tough.

I think the Sand team is too leaning towards long range, and wouldn't be too good at close combat...
