Because of this video, I went out, and borrowed the Orange Box, and already finished HL2: episode 1. Cliffhanger for both HL2, and HL2: episode 1. Judging by the amount of rage on the internet for a HL3, I guess there is a cliffhanger for HL2: episode 2. Hopefully, the game will include a improved version of the already fantastic source engine. Probably explaining why it appeared as in if valve couldn't count to three.

The easter egg was found not too long ago, a few months. You look at easter eggs like they are something that can be found easily. This is valve we're talking about. This one is much harder to find than any other than I ever seen. This is not a Garry's Mod hack either. Why don't you go try to find this easter egg following the instructions VERY carefully. There are other websites too. Which ones did you really check? If you have not even played Portal, or Half-Life, then GTFO!

Well it was 6 months ago, but then again people don't take easter eggs as seriously as the real thing. Me, personally thought the video was legit. I may be wrong but Valve hasn't released any new games since Portal 2. They're gonna have to release a third game of something soon, because they know about all the picket signs and they been very secretive still. Valve did the same thing for Half Life 2 when it was in development, very secretive. But this time, there is a cliffhanger in Half life 2: episode 2. So this time the fans demand it more than any other game.

It did took me awhile also. I had to kill some covenant and marines along the way and sometimes it was frustrating and I also lost the Banshee from the loading point.

That's not an easter egg, that's just a joke (a horrible one at it). Easter eggs are hidden jokes, and aren't just blatantly shown in the middle of a mandatory cutscene.

You should look up the definition of Easter eggs in software.

Thats likely to happen. It really wasn't as obvious as we think it was. I mean, who would expect this guy to make an secret test chamber? Maybe we will get a half life 3 someday. Valve is gonna have to make another installment of their best franchise someday. When the time does come, we will get a half life 3. Perhaps when they finish Dota 2. It wouldn't be a big surprise to hear that valve would be developing half life 3 in secret the whole time. They did the same thing with half life 2. This thread should be revived at the time half life 3 would be announced, or we could use it to share rumors or parodies.
