One of those weapons remind me of the Grapple Beam from Metroid.

This game looks hilariously fun.

You're talking about the Gravity Lasso, which is actually your main weapon throughout the entire game and what you'll mainly use to start your combo chains.

Edit- Just preordered the Epic Edition of the game. Cant wait for the Demo on the 25th too, will be fun to play the multiplayer mode they threw in.

LLLOOOLLL in Metroid Prime 3, it was called the Grapple Lasso.

Glad to see this Lasso has more use than the one in Echoes, although they're both fun to use either way.

Demo came out today. Just a quick run through level, but it's entertaining. I'm having fun running through it several times over and seeing what other combos I can come up with using just the base weapons. Best one so far was leashing someone, moving around to their side, then shooting one of the powerup guns into his face which threw him right to power lines behind him. Got like 4 different skillshots for it.

Forgive the bump but got the game today and having an absolutely wonderful time with it. Trying to discover all the Skillshots is amazing, theres sooo many of them with a few they wont give you hints to. And amazing the story is rather well put together compared to what you think it might be.

Havent tried multiplayer yet, but going for it after I beat the campaign. I'm only actually on Act 2 so far, so not really that far in.

I havent had this much fun in a while. Although slide tackling enemies seems a bit overpowered if you ask me.

Haha, I'm right before the mega monster part, but I loved controlling the mini me version of it. That's my favorite part of the game so far is listening to Grayson sing and talk about his dino friend.

What system you got it for, Asmo? If you got the 360 one, we could do some of the multiplayer. Splode peoples together lol

I like the kills with the Penetrator even better. FAN-TASTIC!

D= And I still havent beat the game. At Chapter 7 now, everytime I think it's at it's end, it just keeps going.

I find it rather funny that this game is getting good reviews, because it's aimed at having fun rather than tell a powerful story.
Are we moving backwards now? I mean, older games had always been aimed at having fun, look at the older GTA games. But now everything needs to tell a epic story that draws you in (GTA IV).
