3.5 million copies of Skyrim sold already. Impressive. I guess massive marketing campaigns really does work.

I'm hoping the clueless celebrity endorsements had no actual effect, though.

That reminds me, how did that work out for WoW?

I just remember my friend who played Oblivion that if you get your sneak high enough you could kill enemies without them noticing you at all. So I went "why not improve on that while I'm at it." Does heavy armor and two-handedness actually decrease my sneak? This is my first ES game after all, but seeing the other comments I'll assume it does.

Yes, the weight of your armor is a big factor on how well you can sneak. The heavier the armor, the harder it is to sneak.
I've come to the point where I can do a sneak attack, while standing right in front of an enemy and they still wont see me.

I can 1 hit Draugr Deathlords

Hmmm... then I guess I should rethink some things. Live and learn.

I think one of the sneak perks reduce the noise from the armor, so I think it might still be do-able, just not optimal.

There was that too?

There are boots that reduce movement sound... so I suppose you could wear full heavy armor, but wear light armor boots.

But that's just silly

The Companions quest line is bugged for me..... apparently doing the small misc quest for winterhold has utterly screwed me over as I had cleared driftershade refuge... unable to start purity of revenge...

^That sucks.

Speaking of bugs....anybody else noticing that occasionally some of the enemies reacting/moving? I mainly got this during the BIG battles while assisting the imperials against the rebels.

Most such bugs can be straightened out by using the console creatively. There's commands for completing quests and stuff.

The problem is the npcs will still be stuck with the "This person is busy" status. Bit of a shame...

I didn't have anything like that, and it wasn't a permanent bug but
when I stopped being a werewolf for the first time, this dragon plopped down and threw the person I just started talking to two miles away

Why would you join the imperials? They literally fucked you over at the beginning of the game. You were innocent and they still wanted to give you the axe.

The arguments for the rebels side that I've heard so far aren't all too compelling either. Where's Yes Man.

The game's definitely begging for a Yes Man route. It was so satisfying annihilating the Thalmor at Northwhatever Keep.

I understand why there's no Yesman route, though.

Regardless of whether it's Imperials or Stormcloaks, both are basically totally playing into the hands of the Thalmor, and they're just High Elfing it up like fags

Damn racist High elves and Nords! Some of the racial terms are so insensitive. I hate being called Pond scum! I wonder what all the racist insults are for all the races? I know Imperials are called Milk-drinkers, and I think I heard someone call a Wood Elf a forest fairy...

There's always some corruption in the government, the main character just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. But for my character's story, him helping the Imperials makes a lot more sense considering his roots.

Haven't quite decided yet. Did go with Stormcloaks in the beginning, because, yeah, why would you want to stick close to your executioner. If the Stormcloaks are as racist as some say, gonna be tough to justify siding with them, being a dunmer and all.

Also, I met one of those Snow Bears, and it sure did kill me dead. But I wouldn't say they're more dangerous than dragons.

I was questing, minding my own business and I found some 'forgemasters fingers' item. Pocketed them. Found an orc place and they told me 'FIND THE FABLED FORGEMASTER FINGERS TO GAIN ENTRY'.
Was odd.

A similar thing happened to me when I got the Golden Claw and gave it back to that guy in Riverwood.

Sooo...Arrived really late to the Skyrim party because I didn't think my comp could run it...but it does. Fantastic. Pretty much going to go an Arcane Ranger styled route with all the Bound weapon perks, to hell with min/maxing... The only real problem comes from the fact that there's a giant "WHOOSH"ing sound whenever I summon my bow. Not very good for sneaking.
