I wonder if this game will pay homage to the ending of Day of the Dead.    I want to just go to a small beach somewhere, find a ruined helicopter, and pick up the Caribbean dude's pistol.   

They clearly haven't done their research. Tropical islands are filled with guns. FILLED. Especially here in the Caribbean.

Um. The island of Hawaii? That seems too big.
Maybe closer to one of the smaller islands in the chain.

Smallest one would be Kaho'olawe and the second smallest is Ni'ihau, which that island is populated by Hawaiians only. So the closest being that said, would be Kauai or Lanai

Kauai's populace is 58,303, Lanai is 3,193.
Maui can fit, they have 117,644 on the island. And it's also a hotel resort, just like this game has it.

Sweet a sprawling zombie rpg type game, my pants have just burst open. I'm quite interested in the drop in drop out co-op.

Still, doesn't this game feel very smiler to Far Cry 2 in a way.

After mounths of rigorous trials and conducted research I have finally come to the conclusion that Modern Warfare 2 can go SUCK IT.

Yeah, I read it in some of those comments on the 11 minute commentary of it. People said they thought it's like Far Cry feeling to it too.

That isn't technically a bad thing, Far Cry 2 was a pretty good game that was let down by few bad design choices.

Dead Island looks pretty good with the whole improvise your own weapon thing it's got going on, and there's even said to be customisable vehicles.

I've read recently that even with the whole Dead Rising/2 customise everything, they're still doing heart ripping, character caring, tear jerking storylines and stuff that will actually make you want to finish quests and look for more background info.

Not bad. I'll probably wait till the price comes down on amazon and get it for 15-20 bucks. I generally don't pay full price for zombie games. I don't have to play them during release.
