It's just a naming issue, because the US has retarded immigration laws and getting a visa can be daunting. Which impedes the smooth growth of e-sports, often causing people to fail to attend their matches.
Why would they take out the ping indicator from the loading screen?
It made people flame other people for having bad pings? Really, Riot. If you feel the number of people flaming others at the beginning of the match merely for their ping is unacceptably high then your problem might not be that you're showing everybody's ping, but that your userbase is made up of assholes.
I liked seeing the pings, it allowed me to estimate the reaction times on people and vice versa. If I saw a friendly having lag spikes I knew I'd have to be extra careful with what I do around them to make sure we synch up right.
Also, exclusive avatars are the new skins. Just give it a few weeks and they're gonna start charging you riot points for the best ones.
The lack of the loading bar (to make space for the useless goddamn avatars, of all things) made it that much harder to tell at one glance whether you should buckle your seatbelts and get ready for the ride in a few moments or go back to the kitchen and make another coffee while you wait.
Seems that there's hardly anything I like about the new loading screen setup. But then again, I don't complain about champion and item changes, now do I?

Tarics keep it real, man. We heal, we give armor to counter the other adc, we stun, we outrageously improve ap and ad, we take a massive beating... Yet we're under appreciated because we're supports. It's no wonder I only like to support my best bud, we are such a good team and actually value each other in-game.
