I nearly punched my friend in the face for his Master of Etherium deck.

It was a combo that used master of etherium and something else that made artifacts cheap as hell and there were tons. Don't really remember.

Possibly. I'll check tomorrow and write his combo down.

Was it standard? I only know standard legal artifacts. Well until the end of the month. Then none of my artifacts will be legal!

Yeah, his deck is standard artifacts. He's less than pleased.

I feel his pain. Espers are so unloved. Weakest shard in standard.

I'm not as happy about the new artifact block as I thought I would be. I went with Esper because I thought they looked cool. Scifi and metal compared to all the medieval wizards and warriors stuff. And because everyone else hated them so they were cheap. These artifacts are cool but they don't have that flavor Esper has.

Also I won't be "that guy with the artifact deck" anymore. Everyone is going to have some form of a Myr deck or Metalcraft or something.

Scares your monsters. Unless you're artifacts, then I just simply have to get rid of them.

Darksteel Myr would be interesting if it didn't cost 3 to play. Myr Propagator also seems expensive and you have to tap it.

I'm not sure if I want a Myr deck. Hopefully they come up with more Darksteel cards.

My friend has plans for a Myr deck. He's sure they're reprinting copper, silver, etc. The ones that tap for mana.

I think my idea is lots of Myrs, Myr Galvanizer for infinite mana, and Myr Battlesphere.

Get two Galvanizers on the field and a Battlesphere and do infinite damage. Not sure which myr I'll put in the deck. Maybe two of each. My lands will depend on what spells I'm using. Blue is one of them. White probably. Not sure if I want to do black again. Green looks better right now.

Then throw in stuff like Darksteel Juggernaut, Memnite, Lodestome Golem, Steel Overseer, Myr Propagator, Precursor Golem, and Platinum Angel just because.

Kuldotha Forgemaster, Golem Foundry, and Semblance Anvil look interesting.

My friend's deck is planned to use the new artifact polymorph spell to morph into battlesphere.

That could work if you reveal a Battlesphere. My whole deck will be artifacts so I doubt I would get something big unless I knew exactly what was coming up.
