If I remember correctly, a Genius level reincarnation is like, 1600 Mana.

In Disgaea 3 though, the amount of Mana required increases each time you reincarnate (that is, the amount of mana needed to do the reincarnation itself, but the level of reincarnation.

So, Genius is always a flat rate of 1600 Mana. However, to make the reincarnation happen in the first place, the first time you do it is 100 Mana, meaning 1700 Mana for Genius. But each time you reincarnate, the second value increases. So for example, if this is your second time reincarnating the character, it costs 200 Mana, along with the additional mana you're using depending on the level of whatever.).

Transmigration is always 100 Mana.
Depending on the character, it'll cost more for you to be able to Transmigrate at Genius. Main character will always be 5000 Mana to reincarnate to genius.

Note: The more you kill that tier of Monster, the less Mana it will be for you to make and transmigrate with, to an extent. Example: If you kill a Ghost alot, it'll cost less to make, but that won't effect it's next tier, the Boggart. Kill more Boggarts for those to cost less.

So...whats a stored level?
and are knights a good idea? I've always been iffy about people that can do both magic and physical attacks (both stats are probably compromised to do so)

Usually when I make a Knight, I'd either make it completely magic with a staff, or completely melee with a sword.

Well you could try using both in one, that was the original intent of a Knight.

But that would mean spreading out Bonus points, making the stat gain harder.

I've never heard the term "stored level" before.
Unless it means the Bonus areas like Prinny Land of the Cave of Ordeals, then I have no clue.

My guide book mentions stored levels. Those make the blue (i think. could be the yellow) bars for the stat gains larger. it's the combined level of the character. Say he transmigrates at level 50 and levels up to 50 and transmigrates again. His stored level is 100. I think. The book isn't exactly clear...

Oh. I must have not seen the posts saying that you study it. I know you are the Disgaea Guru, but I haven't seen you say that you study it. eh. Still, the pic was worth posting.

Also, Coos, How much difference in effect is there between having a 300 ArmsMaster vs having a 100 ArmsMaster? Also for Statistician. Mana and Hell are relatively easy to acquire, so I don't need to know about Managers or Brokers.

Coos, my progress in the Story in Etna mode hasn't changed, but I have leveled up everyone to 8. and Etna to 17. The belt thing for the Prinnies was a good idea. I also got everyone to rank 1.

And what techniques does a Prinny learn?

in Disgaea 2, my level for my Lady Fighter is like, around 200, but her Reincarnation level is +3000 :D
The whatever the stored level shows is basically what level your character really is on level 1.
Basically. And it will go up as your Reincarnate more.

A 300 Armsmaster will make your Weapon Mastery skyrocket (sorta) on hit, while a 100 Arms will be less. I wouldn't know too much, I don't use Arms.

Prinny Skills:
Prinny Barrage- Attacks one enemy 5 spaces ahead of Prinny, fairly strong.
Prinny Dance- Attacks 1 enemy adjacent of Prinny. Really weak, but stronger in Disgaea 2 and 3. Is ultimately meant to give the enemy tons of Aliments. Becomes useless on high levels, because most people become immune to aliments.
Prinny Bomb- Attacks the 4 people around Prinny. Because of it's Fire Add-on, use against those weak to Fire
Pringer Beam- Attacks 8 people around Prinny. Star element, and its ridiculously OP at high levels.


You'll mostly only use Prinny Barrage and Pringer Beam at high levels.

I want the longinis, but Etna's weapon level is only 13. >.>. I need to item world more. And I have yet to get even 1 gency exit. I just solo run through from blue gate to orange gate, killing on my way there and generally leveling up Etna.

I don't think you get Longnius as a weapon in the first Disgaea.
I know you get it in Disgaea 2, I have two of them equipped (one on my Etna, one on my Heavy Knight). It's also the second best spear in the game.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF PIRATE BAALS APPEARING IN ITEM WORLD .

Very low.
First, you gotta be over floors 91+, and you must kill Baal and I think Prinny Baal before they can appear as Pirates.

After you kill them and go to fight the actual Prinny Baal battle, all his stats are tripled.
