But srsly, I'm poor.
Lulz. I' guess I'll just wait till Christmas, or until you all get bored of it and find something else to play.

Coos, you must buy TF2 before Christmas, or else the prophesy will not be fulfilled...

I'm definitely not rich. This is the first game (well, it's a game compilation) I was finally able to buy since like... 1-2 years ago.

I know it was, but when it comes to jokes of a condescending nature, I'm not one to take it from strangers light-heartedly. Normally, I'd just jeer back, but since I have no clue who (or would it be how?) you are, I'd find it rude to say anything back. I have a thing for familiarity. Dickish and sensitive of me, but we all have our quirks, neh? Sorry if that came out the wrong way, but I'm just peculiar with my preferences.

@Coos: ctually, Bob is right. TF2, by itself, is really just $30. If I were you, though, I'd still wait out for the extra $20 to buy Orange Box in its entirety. I find the complete deal to be totally worth it, and plus there's PORTAL. A game that gave me a serious case of vertigo after using so many awkwardly positioned portals.

Well yeah, I do plan on waiting for that Extra cash. I have played Portal before, but only for like, 3 minutes. I actually wanna play it through.
HL2- Beat so long ago.
TF2- the main reason for buying, cuz its awesome and to play you guys.
I'm gonna suck so bad when I start.

I think it really only take one good match to get hang of the game's mechanics, then some time if you want to know more than just the basic ins and outs of all the characters. Since you're familiar with FPS, you shouldn't do too bad at all. But Portal... it boggles the mind. Especially the advanced bonus stage, which is like the normal levels on crack.

Portal is awesome, but I buy games for the multiplayer not two-hour love affairs.

Hot, intense, tingling sensational two-hour love affairs, but not buy-worthy.

Hearing Glados's voice alone made it buy-worthy. The first game that actually gave me a slight case of vertigo is Prey. But, looking at things, Portal might be much worse

The sickness only comes about when you end up having to use the same topsy-turvy portal numerous because you keep messing up. ._.

On a side note, I totally think the hot two hour love affair is buy worthy. I relish the short but incredibly satisfying experiences. It's why I got Shadows of Colossus, and love Call of Duty 4's single player. That's not to say I don't value the longer and equally enjoyable experiences, though.

HEY!!! They were hard! For someone who uses his brain for 4 hours in a day, I think I did a pretty good job. D:

The entire Orange Box is $50 plus tax. You may have beaten HL2, but there are more episodes... I haven't even played HL2 yet, so this is good for me, I can get started on it finally... but not now... TF2 takes up my time now...

I'd assume people normally use their brain all day so... yeah...

Well, I always play on maximum difficulties whenever I'm done playing on normal difficulties.
