Actually Sakurai was dissapointed with Melee. He wanted to include a lot more features but just didn't have the time to include all that he really wanted before the Cube launch. Really, there is no dissapointment now, they've already got the formula for success, and now they have the chance to add on to it.

Duuuuudes, what if Grey Fox was an unlockable for snake like Falco was an unlockable for Fox?

Who's GreyFox? Did he exist in Star Fox Command? If he didn't, then you should know he's my StarFox Fan-made character.

I want Marth to be back, unchanged if possible, and Megaman to be a newcomer.
Keeper: Welcome to the forums. And yes, don't try to bitch with Ganon. He can be a nice guy, but act like a bastard to him and you're comparing that to a battle between a yellow-belt martial-artist, and a guy with a tomigun. You ain't gonna win.

Smaug & Nix: Smaug: I was hoping for a perfect mold of your penis. But that'll have to wait. Nix: Smaug, you know you don't need a mold of it, you can have the real deal any time you want.

Dave & Yoshi: Dave: A better question would be can a Sledgehammer stop my boner. This is what the people REALLY want to know. Yoshi: .. See, now why are scientists not researching something worthwhile, like that?

And if it had online stuff, we are talking of Smash Bros Brawl, I'm sure it won't disappoint anyone.

Dead or Alive 4, it rocks. Unless you suck at it.

I didn't say fighting games with online capabilities are shit, but playing fighting games online is shit. Get some fucking friends and competition.

Either way, Dead or Alive is still shit.

What do you have against fighting games with online multi-player capabilities?

@ the comment about the sidescrolling adventure mode:

Just because something's being added to the game (I.E. a new game type) doesn't mean that the playing style or anything outside of that mode is different. They have the same gameplay in the normal and multiplayer modes, just with more characters, items, and stages. D:<

I wasn't meaning to say it was a bad thing. The person was using the new sidescrolling mode as grounds that it's changing the formula from that of SSBB. It's basically the same game as melee. I mean, you can use the same controller, even.

Actually I have a feeling that even the multiplayer will have a different feel to it. Especially with the new features like the Tether Recovery, Gliding, Final Smashes, Footstool Jump, etc.

Not to mention the new characters, and the fact that all of the returning character's gameplay styles won't stay the same. Just look at the difference between Smash Bros. and Melee.

I honestly won't care if Marth doesn't return because I think that Metaknight will fill his shoes nicely. The same as Ike will do for Roy.

As for other clones:

Dr. Mario, no.

Falco, no. (Maybe with his own attacks)

Young Link, no.

Pichu, hell no.

The only clone that I actually do want to return though is Ganondorf, but not as a clone. He should have his own original attacks and fighting style.

Yeah, clones kinda sucked, but at least they changed stats among the clones. Like how Falco is a bit slower in some attacks but stronger in those same attacks compared to Fox. And how Ganandorf was stronger but slower than Captain Falcon. But all in all, I wouldn't want to see clones in Brawl.

The only clones I thought that were useful where Ganondorf, Falco, and Roy.

I hated Pichu, all of his attacks do damage, and he's pretty much useless.

What do you have against fighting games with online multi-player capabilities?

It would just come out like your fighting an intelligent computer. Even if it is multiplayer, it'll feel like singleplayer. With someone else in the room, it feels so much different.

With a Gamecube controller, a Wiimote, Wiimote with nunchuck, or Classic controller.

You hold the Wiimote like a gamecube controller and play like a gamecube controller.

I'd like a stamina mode with options, so that you could increase the amount of health you start out with.

Just thought about something, Level 9's in Smash Bros are like a Level 4 in Melee. I'm wondering if the A.I. will be even harder for Level 9's in the new game.

I'd hope so. After a while, it's REALLY boring. Except that I can't kill 3 9s at once. Only 2...

You Pichu haters can go to hell. Pichu is fucking awesome once you realise his strength is his speed and his weakness is lengthy matches.
