Could this be true? If so Sega's new games have to sell well.

If Nintendo did buy out Sega they would let them stay a 2nd party company.

Ya know... I've been hearing this freakin' rumor since the time of the Dreamcast. I think it's like the newspaper where one of my cousin's works, they keep saying they are going bankrupt, but it never happens.

very, Very, VERY BAD!

If it was Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony, I would have been skeptical since there the biggest competitors on the market. But, Sega games haven't had good run lately (no pun intended).

That's why I suggest that the big N get ahold of Sega if they do go bankrupt. It's the biggest chance of Sonic staying relatively the same (by same I mean personality wise, we don't need another gun toting hedgehog). And a plus, more Sonic/Mario crossovers.

Sooooooo..... This may actually be a good thing if nintendo buys the company. Other than the side that Mario was in nba streets and ssx 3( or amped.. ?) both for GC, and the olympics with Sonic, Nintendo could profit out of this by making more sport games and make thier own version of a Sonic 3D game.

Like I said, Nintendo would leave them a 2nd party company like Hal and Retro Studios.

I've heard Sega is coming back with a new system, but THAT's a rumor as well. Sega has made better then games then the last company that went bankrupt, Acclaim, never did like them

The problem is that they can't rest with the franchise of Sonic the Hedgehog. They are releasing a hell of games in a year, which makes the character tedious and repetitive. Also, if you played "Sonic the Hedgehog", for XBox 360 or PS3, you'll understand the origins of this bankrupt.

They should just stick to 2.5D Sonic games. Sonic just can't go as fast in full 3D.

Actually, Sonic did performed right in "Sonic Adventure" and "Sonic Adventure 2", then they started to screw the story, more glitches, and since then, it's all just very repetitive.

Yeah, most likely Sega went bankrupt and is now a lowly office in the Big N. Sega tried sueing Nintendo for using Sonic in a game because Nintendo suppossedly didn't get the rights. Nintendo counter-sued got rights and everything else Sega had left. :( Just though you should know

Let me check through my archive of "Club Nintendo" Magazines and I'll tell you which game it was. I have like 40 Magazines and some date back to 1999...D:...Brb

Edit:
Crap, my back,The Giant Backpack I have for my magazines fell on to it...Anyways, it was "The Sonic Mega Collection" I lost a few pages due to oldness and falling-apartness so I lost the major details. I think Nintendo got rights for Sonic in their version of "Sonic Adventure 2:Battle" and later under those rights made "The Sonic Mega Collection". I think Sega didn't get enough of a compensation or something and sued. You know the rest. ^_^
