Every profession has a counter. Hexing just happens to be one of those things which works well on one. I think they're over powered, just a tad. It's hard for a lot of professions to beat a Balthazar tank without the right build.

It has two factions apparently (humans vs Charr)
And you get to choose a race at the beginning of the game (humanoid or Charr)
It now no longer relies on the invisible walls holding players back....

so Factions+races+Jumping on mountains = WoW???

From what I head about GW2 at GenCon:
All races are available that you've seen. Yeah, even Vekk's race.
No Monthly fee if possible.

What i have: lv 20 monk, lv 20 Warrior, lv 20 Mesmer, lv 20 ranger. Garbage, garbage, and some pvp slots.
Just as a note: I do still get on, not often, but I do. I do have all four areas, but I've not bothered completing factions all the way(quit at reefs), nor Nightfall. Truthfully Nightfall and Factions killed the game for me.

Honestly, I don't think they needed Nightfall, but they did have to clean up storyline in some ways.
And if Mhenlo didn't exist, Abaddon would still roam the planet living lively. :D

well the Heroes just promoted people not going out in groups. as with the Henchmen.
Granted, yeah, half the people that I tried to get a party with as pugs, sucked. but still......

Almost at full 15k armor for my Tank. Also trying to beat the quest All Alone in the Darkness with my Tank but it's impossible because every group I get in are a bunch of retards that amaze me they got that far. Almost finished it but a Ranger ran into the town before we could finish off the last few guy's. [spoiler]And to think undead Shiro and Lich are still ahead.[/spoiler] And coming up on my second or third year of GW. Added a spoiler tagg since Crosis is apparently still on Faction's.

The only way this is inaccurate is if you participated in beta testing of the game. mines about 2 months off from what it should be.

Well I did All Alone in the Darkness backward's today and have been trying to beat the mission all day. And everygroup I was in never got to Shiro or Lich for some reason in one group they thought that everyone could easily run to Shiro and Lich needless to say they died I just sat at the start of mission not resigning to teach them a lesson. Then we had a promising group but four people insisted on going the wrong way that they said was right that ended badly. So I just switched character's and ran AG three time's with my derv before logging.

So, lately I've been working a lot on my paragon. I want to get this super awesome build for her. It's like, based around the Ursan elite skill. Use the weak shout skill, and use it to reapply like 4 different shouts each time. Really pimpin. Decided to name Her Aneri Malian. No prizes for guessing where the name came from.
