Close enough, gala has their own devs. How do you think they make the patches?

Anyway, I popped back on today, I got to level 9 with my new character, with which I did not use the skill points on vagrant skills this time.

I'll just copy/paste a post I made that was locked by a mod (with a horrible excuse to lock it mind you).

V7 came around, Made the game too easy for new comers. Gave you points instead of leveling your skills up, deleting the one main thing this game has from most mmorpgs on the market. Then a bunch of other random nick nacks thrown in.
V9:
Heh.. How do you manage to do it..the game is ruined. Pets, we don't need pets, and looking at the pets, they are pretty much a waste of time. Crafting unique weapons eh? Well way to make something else easier. Lets see here...ah yes, the first job quests, why make them horribly easy..they were easy as is, now it's just very easy 'newb' mode.Damage Reflection...ok..you might as well just make it say 1% instead. Ruins the point quite a bit.
Ah, yes. The guild war fee..
There will be no guild wars now, way to go with that one.

So, with that I ask you..how do you manage to do it... How do you manage to completely destroy a game in only 2versions..

(Please note all (quite literally)of the players that have been around longer that posted in the thread agreed with that statement...so, with that, NO you should not be excited)

Then I should agree with you.

Gala's failing hard. Even if the environment is becoming new, I don't see a reason to have pets. Flyff also had flaws when v9 released. Yeah, v7 is better.

I've been informed that for now, it's unsafe for me to get on my FS.

God, v9 is evil. -_- PK sucks.

Ah, yes, how dare the few people that didn't listen to me now listened.. (Long story not going into it).

Though, I log on, and what do i see, the game worse then before. I'm not going to go into everything, but when they have a mailbox that bounces, how do they expect us to want to even open the bloody thing?

Though, in short, my statement was correct, and it fails now, horribly, I un-installed it, I haven't un-installed it since the first download over a year ago. It now earned it's rightful place un-installed and deleted.

V9's going to suck. Heck, ever since v8 was canceled, they're making it worse. They should have put versions in ORDER.

I really think this post should be ignored.

Flyff now sucks these days. Heck MMO's suck these days.

It's going to be hard to do. Most free mmo's are like Maplestory or Runescape.

I've played MS, got sick of it after Beta.
I've seen Runescape, didn't like the way it looked.

Get Guild Wars. Free except for the initial fee of 50$ to buy the game.

By the way you're talking about the update, I'm reluctant to pick the game back up. Real reluctant.

You miss the true concept of "free" as in... no money needed at all.

I don't wanna play any really popular MMORPGs though. I want to find a more obscure but good one... and free... >_>

Here's one for you guys.

http://www.legendro.net/

My friends(Who I don't know where they are anymore) showed me this RO variation game and I became addicted to it. It just got so slow on me due to my current leve(Don't ask) and I just stopped.

So basically those are two separate private servers?

In a sense yes. But there are modifiers on different servers. Some are rapid levels and incredible loot drops, to me that would kill the whole fun! LLRO basically enhances your exp and levels to a certain extent, once you reach high levels it feels like the main RO, just free.

Basically the people who run it will display the modifiers.
