I don't share your enthusiasm bro.

I don't mind the trinkets, good for supps. But shorter duration is annoying to keep up with. I need to assist the bloody adc, not roam all over the map every 2 minutes and risk running into enemy jungler.

Also, trinkets are useless in ARAM.

Also, whoever thought that putting trinket activation on "4" instead of "7" was a good idea should have their balls cut off. I bought pots that ended up in 5th slot that used to be 4th. Kept hitting 4 until I realised. Now I have to change all my habits. How annoying.

I was already annoyed having to remake all my mastery pages.

And ofc it gets rebound, but it shouldn't have been bound to a retarded button like that by default in the first place.

hm...what's the purpose of Fury? The extra attack speed mastery. Has that ever been useful? Why would they keep it after so long?

Then people can stop bitching about playing it.

Junglers are 1 level behind, 300g behind at level 12, most nontanky junglers have to go b if they do the new Wight camp to start. The new Wriggles is even more useless for what it gives vs what it's worth and raptor jesus help you if you fall behind.

Also Riot has been saying they'll 'fix' supports. Since the first season it's just been getting worse, and it seems they're just uneeded.

Ah.... QU, trinkets are only available in summoner's rift?
I don't mind the changes to supports, mainly because I only play Taric. Changes to him and the build I use just makes him stronger now.

Honestly, I would think it a good thing if they phased out support. It's clearly the least fun role, very very few actually like playing it.

Here's some perspective on the attack speed increase.
Trundle, level 3 with 2 ranks in his W, a stinger, and a rune page with only attack speed.
With Fury, I have 1.5 attack speed. Without Fury, I have 1.467. That's a whopping .033 attack speed.
That's with the current 5%, last season it was 4%. I could be missing something, but the mastery seems completely useless.

I'm considering using it more for tanks. It won't benefit damage dealers all that much, but considering I don't get attack speed on tanks it might make a difference.

Well, for one, having the stinger and the runes of attack speed doesn't "help", because all such percentage bonuses are calculated from the BASE stat. Trundle has a base attack speed of 0.67, and 5% of that get you 0.0335. So that's where that number comes from. This also goes for everything else attack speed, so that stinger with 40% gives you 8 times as much attack speed, or 0.268. That's a lot more, of course (though still a very small number), but you can't compare masteries to items anyway, they're deliberately diminutive.

Instead, one should compare it to another mastery instead... Warlord being the most directly comparable. It gives 5% to BONUS AD, for 3 points. "Bonus" means items and runes and other such. That's about one to zero effective extra ad in the beginning of the game. Once you have about a two ad items combined, around 100 bonus AD, maybe early midgame, you'll have around 5 bonus ad, maybe a bit more. Out of the 180 you'll have at that time. The Warlord mastery makes up around 2.78 % of your ad. Which is 2.78% more DPS if you have an Attack Speed of 1, more if it's higher. Meanwhile, since attack speed is measured in attacks per second, 0.0335 of that stuff is... 3.35% more DPS, on average. And 2.78 % > 3.35 %, obviously. Of course there's load of other factors: Warlord is three points, but that's kinda made up for the fact it doesn't add anything in the beginning of the game, it adds even more AD in the late game, but it's higher in the tree, bla bla. And AD is often scaled into abilities, but AS helps proc stuff, but is redundant when you can't continuosly hit an enemy and bla bla again. Whether AD is better than AS in general is an even longer ball of yarn, so you could also look at what they're worth in terms of gold:

When Warlord gives 5 AD, it's half a Long Sword, so it's worth half it's value, which is 180 gold. Fury is worth 5/12 of a Dagger, so it's worth 166.6 gold. Fairly close.

Whew, that took a good bit of research. As said, there's still a lot of factors that can be debated to arrive at which exactly is best, but they point is, you can just point to a number being a small as an argument. Most of these numbers are pretty small when you actually do the calculations. It's all in the math.

I used those numbers bcuz someone told me it had changed, so that was the only example I had.
Which still makes me stupid since the difference is the same >.>

I see your point, but atk dmg is spread across moves and auto atks. That 5 dmg is considerably more notable in fights imo. Eh, I just find it worth 4 points.

As I said, AD vs AS is a different discussion altogether, but yeah, AD > AS in quite a lot of contexts. For most champions, attack speed is something you need a little boost in late game, not something you should actively build.

But specifically for masteries, I'd say immediate bonuses are super important. Masteries make little difference once you start team fighting. I've picked the wrong set of masteries a number of times, which will lose you your lane, or your jungle, but won't matter past the mid game.

5v5 Teemo is surprisingly strategic. The custom my friends and I were in started to slowly advance through the jungle secretly.
We would sneak through areas we thought were safe, push in with the red trinket. WWI xD

I thought he would be broken when he came out, but I was strong. He is a strong champion, but not to the point of losing a game just because you're going against him.
I haven't even played him yet but I've already come up with a build based on passive and skills. Attack speed boots, infinity edge, trinity force, atma's impaler, spirit visage and blade of ruined kings.
