Well... Lets just keep the current comics there until we can find some new comics to put up and replace the old ones, preferable the ones that suck like digital purgatory. And Endlings comic because honestly we are all getting tired of new members coming in and asking if its going to be continued and then leaving forever after they find out it's not coming back

Also, i see no more need for digital purgatory or Ever after sections being around if it's pretty much dead and no one uses it. It's merely just there so new members can start asking the same annoying question. and then we can get rid of some of the other comics without another taking its place... Like forgotten tower because that is NEVER coming back and Invader Zim because even bleedman doesn't feel like touching it. We can get rid of that naruto comic because its a bigger fanfic then the fanfics of fanfics we already have.

Lets say I know someone who's start to do a webcomic, she's on like page eight I believe. If she were to contact someone it'd probably be Thomas or BR right?

It would be BR, Thomas is pretty much purely involved with the technical side of the forum only.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Yeah, BR is the creative leader. Kind of like Ashurbanipal of Assyria. A Warrior-Scholar King.

An Admin who is currently working on one of the only updating comics on this site. He's also sole benefactor to actually starting some of these new things.

I should probably hit him up again. If we aren't just blowing hot air of course.

We're pretty far from finishing up on reorganizing the forum. Well, this idea supposed to go on the Dev forum, but I thought maybe we could have sections that cater to various discussions, like a web comics section with child boards for each webcomic, and the section will talk about web comics beyond Snafu as well. To put a spin on the Spam forum we could instead have a SPAM Games section (some of you would probably disagree with that, but I've seen this idea work in one forum, and given the possible revival of the Z? thread maybe.) I had other ideas but they were all thought out when I was about to sleep.

Here's her comic for those who'd like to see it.

A man shows up,    buys chainmail for 200 gold, goes into a cave, dies, and the denizens sell it back to her for 20 gold.

She knows how to do business, I'll give her that. :D

I may consider reading more in the near future.

So from what i see, it's about a goat girl who tricks people and lies. I get a feeling this also means she gets her karma too.

It looks pretty promising

As far as the wikipedia of bad comics, I try not to read stuff written by stuck up assholes with nothing better to do but write hate. Someone who has time to read through whole comic for the sake of writing hatred is no one with a viable opinion to me :/ they're just internet bullies. So I don't have anything to say about the wikipedia thing beyond that.

As far as the questions of independence from Dave, it's just not possible : ( It's still his site. If you want a different site, either make one or find another one. Take it from someone who has had to move around a lot. Websites and communities are a top down kinda thing. Once Dave stops caring, the community follows through. Dave needs to give the site up to someone else, which just from knowing website owners, it ain't gonna happen.

I've tried so hard to change a website myself. I used to be an admin on a roleplay site, and I saw direct reaction from my actions. Once I took my gloves off, so did everyone else, and got so bad it became to site's undoing. If there was ever any fire on SNAFU, I suppose the bright side would be that the site endured it and is still alive today, even if it seems like a smolder.

It's a shame to see where you come from, so my condolences. I worry myself about how exactly are we going to work together to make any positive changes if we don't have that power, and if we're not up up to fulfill our part. Still, I've seen some good changes over the past months or so, but we're very inconsistent, not to mention we also have our personal lives to worry about.

I've also grown out of web comics at this point in my life. Sure, maybe I might rid a little bit of bleedman and whatnot but there's just nothing here worth reading, and the reviewers at bad web comics do make valid points IMO about the way the story is written. It's just not the site's niche anymore to cater to web comics anymore; we really need to work together here to do something about that, but at the same time we need to be prepared in order to carry out further actions. I like to think that the website sets up good criticisms that we could use to make things here in Snafu better, though it'll take awhile.
