I was once playing Fatal Frame with the led lighting off and Evanescence playing. Eeriest thing I've ever felt... Well, at least since having the piss scared out of me BEFORE I stepped into a scarehouse at age 12. They say they dumbed down the horror for me because I was paranoid about going inside but truthfully, it probably was nowhere near as scary as it sounded from the outside. In that long-ass line, I just kept hearing the screaming. No eerie music, no weird sound effects, just screaming like everyone that went in was being greeted by some huge dude with a sledge hammer. Before that, my most frightening experience was watching the original Jurassic Park in a gigantic theater.
These days, I don't get scared... or well, at least I don't feel scared. I'm always aware of everything going on around me so things don't take me by surprise. It's a necessity. If I were to be legitimately taken by surprise, I'd likely start beating the crap out of somebody in sheer panic. Not that that's ever happened <_< . >_>

Nice..You seems to geting strong from inside.. Now I scares a lot.. No light just frightens me

Funny, I've never had a problem with owls before (still don't to be honest). But this is starting to creep me out a bit...
Apparently an owl has started to attack people in a nearby (less than 2 miles from me) neighborhood. So far it has stolen hats (found later) and ipods (not found later) from joggers. Found out today that it has drawn blood (attacked some guy's head, left scratches). Anyone know what type of owl it is? Here are pics:

Sort of creepy, so I thought why not share?

That owl was probably eying the people taking the pictures. Focusing on it's next target.

It looks like some kind of barn owl judging from what looks like a rounded face.

You people and your "scary themed" avatars.

Back in my day snafu users would swap personalities and sets entirely for Halloween.

And I only say this because it gives me a chance to say "back in my day". And I like nostalgia.

Who is he pretending to be?
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."
