Developers/Creators acting up at Cons

Have you ever been to a convention where certain developers or creators troll people? Artix Entertainment, a game company I was once brand-loyal to, did the following in DragonCon 2013:

Panel Moderator: "Today we have with us the makers of kids games...."
Artix: "Actually, we do not make kids games..."
Panel Moderator: "Then how did you get on this panel!?"
Artix: "We make video games for players of all ages."
Panel Moderator: "Oh...."
Artix: "The reason our games are for all ages is because of how a lot of the game devs are in real life. For example, I do not drink, smoke, nor do drugs. Never have. Never will. Well.... maybe I will try drinking when I am like 80. Hmmm. Nawww."
Panel Moderator: *chuckles* "So your games are good for young children?"
Artix: "Yes, that is why in the opening of AdventureQuest World's storyline we have one villain rip the soul out of the chest of another major villain and crush it in his clenched fist."
Panel Moderator: "..."

...and scene. Ever seen something like this in a Con?

Stufflikehearts - He is a Sith Lord. I love Blood Lord :3
Jeffffey - Blood, you look at the information someone says, look over what really happened, and reply in a way that makes them realize what they were really thinking.
Light10s - Blood Lord! Your avatars are becoming more epic. You make me feel like getting on all fours and submitting my loyalty and obedience to you.
Fievel - Numerous campaigns and conquests, countless bodies decaying after the abandonment of victorious battlefields. Such is the life of Blood Lord.
Dusk_Imp - Blood Lord is like a celebrity here. Everything he does is pure awesome. ALL HAIL BLOOD LORD
Doctress Who - Why couldn't there be a Blood Lord in every forum? It would make life so much easier.

I can't say I've seen it happen, but I've heard of people being funny on panels.

You've convinced me not to stop playing this game. I was told once here that AQ sucks.

Anyways, massive respect for Artix here. His game incarnation has always been my favorite and now I have another reason why to support that fact.
Reset. Recalibrate.

This is about AQW, not AQ :P

I'm not sure if AQW still has that intro, though. They've rewritten the game a few times in various areas.
